Crema's Take

Nestled on Emory's campus, Kaldi's earned fierce loyalty from students and visitors alike, with baristas who consistently nail both traditional espresso drinks and creative specialty options like their crowd-pleasing ube latte. The vibe strikes that perfect balance between serious study spot and social gathering place, with outdoor seating that invites lingering over genuinely good coffee and light bites—it's the kind of neighborhood roastery that makes a strong first impression on newcomers to Atlanta.

I absolutely LOVE Kaldi's and I come here frequently as a grad student at Emory. That baristas are incredible and the drinks are always SO good. HOWEVER, the girl working the cash register today had such a nasty and rude attitude that I was genuinely taken aback. She held that same attitude with every customer I saw her interact with while I was in here. I never write reviews but truly this girl was so rude I had to. Again, every other worker I've encountered has been incredibly kind and wonderful, but this girl really needs to learn how to speak to people with kindness.

This coffee shop is on Emory University Campus so it’s mostly occupied by students but the outdoor seating is pretty nice for people watching and sipping on your coffee with a side of their delicious seasonal baked goods. Must try their Cardamom Croissant 🥐 and rosemary Latte ☕️

Good coffee shop if you're on Emory campus I think it's same as Roaming or Dancing Goat 🐐 🤔 Fancy, I got chocolate covered beans 🫘 and bubble 🫧 water Good place to study probability

This coffee shop left a really great impression on me—it was actually one of the first spots I visited when I got to Atlanta. At first, we thought about just stopping by in the evening for coffee, but then we decided to come for breakfast instead, and honestly, that was the best choice. They make an insanely good Chicken Power Bowl with quinoa, roasted sweet potato, feta, dried cherries, and chicken. I ended up having it three mornings in a row and couldn’t get enough of it. Their coffee presentation is also really unique—they serve it with a little glass of soda. Not just water, but soda, which I’ve never seen anywhere else. It’s especially nice when you’re having strong drinks; it just makes the whole experience better. As for the vibe of the place—it’s super calm and relaxing, at least in the mornings. No loud music, just a chill atmosphere. A lot of people were studying or working. We were there on a business trip, but it almost felt like being back in college, when I’d spend mornings studying in a café. Brought back some good memories and left a really nice impression. Overall, I’d 100% recommend this place to absolutely anyone.

Take 3 of the ube latte. Tbh I have no idea what's good on the menu but the ube latte is a passable option ($7-8 for a large iced). After you mix it, it def loses the ube sweetness since the syrup or flavor isn't strong or as apparent. There's a bunch of seating with outlets under the booths on the sides. I will warn yall; it's freezing here. There's maybe 6-8 spots for 2 hours parking right by the depot that is heavily enforced, I've heard stories were people got ticketed.
