Cafe Con Leche

4100 George J Bean Pkwy, Tampa, FL

Crema's Take

Cafe Con Leche brings authentic Cuban coffee culture to Tampa with a standout Cafe Ybor that strikes the perfect balance between traditional and approachable—balanced enough that you won't feel the need to doctor it up. While service consistency seems hit-or-miss based on reviewer experiences, those who connect with the shop praise its affordable pricing and genuine espresso-forward craft, especially impressive for an airport location where quality usually takes a backseat to convenience.

I purchased a con leche on the skip the line kiosk. It did not give me a receipt. Everyone that was in the “line” had already came and gone. So much for the skip the line. I had waited just about 15 min until I finally asked, what was going on. She asked me for my receipt. Again, the kiosk did not give me one. However, I did show her my transaction proving I spent $8 there. She was very rude. Had the manager go out to the kiosk to verify my purchase, which took another almost 10 min. Just for the manager to hand me a receipt so that I could show her. It’s $8!!! With such busy PAYING customers in the airport trying to catch their flights, you would think they wouldn’t put you through so much hassle over a $8!coffee! She was very rude! Rolling her eyes. Speaking in Spanish talking trash as if others cannot hear them, or most importantly as if I couldn’t understand what she was saying!! I travel a lot in TPA, this place will not get any more business from me. Customer service absolutely sucks!!

3.5⭐️ I got the Cafe Ybor and it was good! It’s wasn’t over the top sweet (I actually wanted to add some cinnamon to mine but I didn’t want to do that right in front of the woman who just made it 🤣). Overall, coffee is not super strong, but strong enough, and tastes good.

This local eatery does a mini replica of the Ybor City version at Tampa Airport Terminal C. I ordered a great cafe con leche and I grabbed some bagged coffee for a host gift as I leave town to visit a friend. The blueberry muffin and the chocolate muffin fueled it out and the chocolate muffin won my heart. Good choice Accessible order and pick up and order line. Accessiible mens and women's restrooms with dedicated stall with grab bars and 5ftx5ft space. Hands free HSN wash and entry and exit. Paid accessible parking in airport lot

DONT BELIEVE THE BAD REVIEWS I am not too sure why all the bad reviews as well. This place was super affordable for an airport (if you travel often you know prices can get wild). Prices are going to be higher at an airport, that’s just how it goes. If you don’t like it, don’t buy it. We used the self service kiosk and it was user friendly and quick. We ordered our breakfast Cuban and it was ready in under 5 minutes. It was a decent size for the price and pretty tasty. This is a fast food place at an airport. This is not a gourmet place. Align your expectations with what you’re buying. I would absolutely go here again. The staff was friendly and the food good. Give this place a try and don’t believe the negativity.

So after checking out the rest of the restaurants in this gate C, this seems to be the most reasonably priced. I saw lots of comments that were not very good. And I disagree with most of them. I don't know if there was bad staff or something at the point of those comments. But there was a long line when I was here and they went fairly quick and handled themselves well for how many people they were serving. They communicated well saying to hold on a minute while they were quickly trying to get orders together. I got the Breakfast Cuban and I thought it was pretty good. Still a little bit pricey for the size but in regards to airport food I thought it was a pretty good deal.
