Crema's Take

This San Jose bagel spot nails the New York-style bagel with remarkable consistency—they're soft, chewy, and bouncy with creative savory flavors like jalapeño cheddar that elevate simple sandwiches into something special. The family running the counter brings genuine warmth to every visit, and whether you're grabbing breakfast on the go or settling in for a leisurely sit, you'll get generously stuffed sandwiches with quality meats and fresh vegetables that actually taste like someone cares. It's the kind of place that satisfies even the pickiest Bay Area bagel snobs who grew up on the real deal in New York.

YUM! First time here and I got the Turkey C.C. sandwich on a cheddar jalapeño bagel and it was so good! The sandwich was filled with yummy crunchy veggies and nice slices of turkey. The bagel texture was so good and toasted to perfection. I also got the Thai Iced Tea with lychee jelly. The tea was super yummy, great balance of sweet and flavor. The staff were super friendly. Highly recommend.

Grew up near NYC so I'm pretty picky about bagels. This place is easily my favorite bagel place in Bay area. Bagels are incredibly fresh and flavorful and the ingredients in the sandwiches (meats, veggies, eggs) are the freshest I've had around here. Pastrami sandwich knocked it out of the park. Can't wait to try more variations. Just wish it was closer to where I live :). Worth the 30 minute drive for me.

I've gone here multiple times to try different sandwiches and each one slaps. I love the texture of the bagels. The food comes out hot with melty cheese, and the sandwiches are stuffed full! The atmosphere is cozy and the staff are friendly and patient.
