Crema's Take
“This espresso-focused Portland gem wins folks over with genuinely excellent coffee and staff who actually care, from silky oat milk lavender lattes to smooth shots with brown sugar notes. The intimate space has a distinctly local vibe complete with monstera plants, art for sale, and that perfect "slow sit" atmosphere—just arrive early since seating fills up fast and the pastry selection (marionberry scones notwithstanding) draws a steady crowd of regulars and meeting-makers. It's the kind of neighborhood spot where the coffee quality matches the genuine warmth of the people behind the counter.”

Could use more tables, service and coffee were excellent, I had a whole milk latte. They did have someone sitting there with their dog the whole time just drinking free water, perhaps some policing? Not trying to ne rude, but paying customers should not have to wait for seating because of this.
Cute place but they propped opened the door for a milk delivery in 32 degree weather, which is completely fine, however, they left it open long after the milk delivery was done which made it freezing inside. Even after multiple comments from customers, it still wasn't closed, and the baristas mentioned they were keeping it open for the delivery guy... who had already left by that point. It remained open for around an hour. I totally understand having the door open for deliveries, but it's very disappointing that they left it open for so long and basically froze everyone, who was sitting inside, out.
This is such a great local Portland coffee shop. I love coming here and the staff are incredible. The oat milk lavender latte is beyond delicious. I might be somewhat biased because my beautiful goddaughter and her equally beautiful partner both work here… but honestly, everyone here is incredibly welcoming and they all really take pride in their work and the drinks that they serve are always made with love. You can’t but help loving them all for making this a safe and welcoming space for everyone in the area. Go Portland!
The coffee is very good. Like this is the kind of coffee that I like, smooth, with an aftertaste of brown sugar. However, the marionberry scone is very dry. I would prefer if it’s a bit more moist.
Really enjoyed the open door breeze with the large monstera plants! The art for sale is also a neat vibe. Soy milk mocha for the win, velvety smooth foam and chocolate flavor without being overly sweet
