A really nice tea spot with a calm, welcoming vibe. The teas were delicious with plenty of options to choose from, and the desserts were tasty. The soft, peaceful music and wooden furniture give the place a warm, relaxing atmosphere that makes it easy to enjoy your time. Overall it’s just a very pleasant place to unwind and have good tea. Great for dates.
I ordered Bingsoo to go for $28, and it’s much smaller than the in-store serving. I feel like I got ripped off. UPDATE: Kimbae called me and she was very nice and accommodating and she had resolved the problem. So I’m updating my review fairly.
Delicious bingsoo (인절미) and very thoughtful interior design. The interior is based on traditional korean. The only downside is that the bingsoo didn’t come with dduk. $25 bingsoo for about 4 people.
This was a great experience. Very chill. Not too big. There was no wait. The floor tables were reserved for bigger groups. They have a projector and they were playing chill music. You have to scan a QR code to order. I’d say we waited about 5-10 mins for our order. The items were on the pricey side. Def share the bingsooo which was $25. It’s ginormous. The red bean and black sesame were delicious. I opted out of all the sugar for my red bean smoothie and it was still good. I would come for those drinks again. The cro waffle and rice waffle were good too! The cro waffle is small but it comes with ice cream. I got the hibiscus tea and it was $15 with 1 mug. I asked for another mug and they said no. They said they could give me a paper cup but I said no thank you. Parking can be tight because there’s other Korean restaurants and k-pop karaoke.
Love that we have a specialty Korean tea house in the DMV area. As a fellow Korean, I love that I get to try and discover different types of teas that I would’ve never known about before. It’s incredibly busy on weekends and after dinner, but it gets quiet enough during off-peak hours for people to do some work here. Prices are on the higher end as well. Definitely a unique find that you should try out!
