“LaJoy's Coffee Cafe is a Black-owned Clayton gem that's earned its reputation as a Starbucks alternative with genuinely excellent coffee and creative signature drinks like their Strawberry-Lavender Lemonade that feel like thoughtful discoveries rather than standard orders. The cozy, phenomenal atmosphere draws folks in for leisurely mornings with fresh pastries and breakfast sandwiches that actually impress, making it the kind of place where the owner stops by your table and the vibe feels genuinely warm rather than rushed.”

This is my very first time of many here, first off let me say they are black owned, food-amazing, scene-phenomenal. I visited while on a date and ordered the Strawberry- Lavender Lemonade with a Turkey Club. Although they were out of mustard, I had nothing to worry about because…
my boyfriend & I ate here for the second time today (ordered out) and I was AMAZED. I ordered a breakfast sammy asiago cheese bagel with sausage and cheese and he got the BLT. 10/10. white chocolate coffee to! NOT TO MENTION THEY CARRY SKI!! thank you for being so kind! …
This place is a hidden gem!! Better than Starbucks!! Delicious food and drinks! They have breakfast, lunch and a delicious array of pastries! We had breakfast sandwiches, hash browns, and coffee! They also have juice and sodas. They even have their own branded coffee beans to…
Great quiet atmosphere in a quiet residential area on Lackland. As I stated before. But not only are the Carmel Macchiatos better than ⭐bucks but so was the Turkey,Egg and Cheese croissant. If you haven't made your way here you need to make this a priority.
The experience was fantastic. The owner was nice and spoke with us. The coffee. Dare I say puts Starbucks to shame. The breakfast sandwich was hot and delicious. I'll be back to visit and sip some of that cold brew again.
