Crema's Take
“Tucked inside a Korean supermarket in Honolulu's Little Korea, EN Hakkore is a hidden gem where traditional bingsu (Korean shaved ice) meets specialty coffee in the most delightful way. Their signature creation features impossibly fine, snow-like shaved ice topped with fresh fruits, sweet red beans, and soybean powder, finished with a shot of espresso that adds surprising complexity to each spoonful. It's the kind of cozy, unexpected spot that rewards you for exploring beyond the obvious, with generous portions perfect for sharing and a loyal following of locals who are thrilled to have it back.”

Great place for dessert. We had a large shave ice bowl. Enough for 3 people. Taste very good.
En Hakkore Bingsu is a gem in Honolulu, especially if you're a fan of bingsu a Korean-style shaved ice. The shaved ice is incredibly fine, almost like snow made with milk and the toppings are fresh fruit and beans. And it was deliciously rich without being too sweet. The red bean and mochi add a nice texture and contrast to the creamy ice. Plus, En Hakkore serves the bingsu with espresso! A perfect combination that you can pour over your shaved ice to complement the sweetness. The presentation is beautiful, and you can tell they put effort into making each dish look as good as it tastes. The place itself is cozy, though it can get pretty busy, because it is located in the Palama Market food court. Owner, Hee Young Park loves creating this authentic treat. It is her passion that is shown in the popular dessert. Also on the menu are Acai Bowls ( which is delicious and fresh). Plus, other traditional Korean Snacks.
So glad they reopened! Their shave ice is a top notch! Lots of fruits, sweet red beans, soybean powder and condensed milk. The best part of all is that you pour espresso over it to bring out complexity of good flavors
Hidden gem located within the Palpal supermarket. Their bingsu (Korean shaved ice) is some of the best I've had. The ice has a perfect snow-like texture, and each bingsu comes with a shot of espresso that perfectly complements the dish. Would highly recommend a stop here if you're in Oahu.
Cute cafe tucked away inside the makai Ewa corner of the Korean supermarket in little Korea. We came for the Bingsu / Bingsoo (빙수) shave ice topped with espresso. The serving was generous with lots of fresh fruit, sweet red bean, mochi confections, and misugaru (미수가루 roasted multi grain powder) shaved ice over some ice cream, with a drizzle of condensed milk. The serving definitely was made to be shared, unless it's your entire meal or you're a teenager! Pouring the coffee on any affogato dessert can be messy, so keep the container close as you pour! Very tasty, more varied and fresh than plain affogato, a nice fusion of East and West, this dish may be a new comfort and armour for the sultry summer/early fall days of Honolulu.
