My Story Cafe

Crema's Take
“My Story Cafe in Uptown Charlotte is a genuinely charming neighborhood spot where the owner Jaclyn creates an uncommonly welcoming atmosphere—reviewers consistently rave about her warmth and engagement. The cafe shines with creative specialty drinks like yuzu iced americanos and exceptional milk teas alongside fresh-baked French pastries, making it equally perfect for a leisurely sit-down visit or meeting a friend between games. It's the kind of place where the care put into both the drinks and the experience feels personal rather than corporate.”

Such a cute & charming place with fantastic coffee! I stopped by in the middle of the day and the owner was so friendly and helpful - I got the yuzu iced americano and it was absolutely delicious! Can’t recommend this place enough - I am already planning to come back everyday for the rest of my trip!
What a picture perfect little place! We were in Charlotte for the Cruz Azul vs Charlotte FC game and decided to find a boba tea place. It did not disappoint! We got the Taro milk tea and the strawberry milk tea and they were both really good. The desserts looked really good but we only got drinks this time.
This is the most charming Cafe ever. The owner is kind and engaging and the Milk Tea is superb! They now have daily fresh baked French Pastries: twice baked croissants, sweet cream cinnamon rolls, and bursting blueberry muffins to name a few. Its located 120 Brevard Court in the French Quarter Village in Uptown Charlotte, its such a welcoming experience.
My Story Cafe in Uptown Charlotte is an absolute gem! After an exhaustive search for an open coffee shop, my friend and I stumbled upon this charming place. Jaclyn, the owner, welcomed us with open arms and inspiring conversation. I savored the Vietnamese iced coffee, while my friend relished the hot chocolate. The warmth and homely atmosphere at Story Cafe made it an instant favorite. We've pledged to return every time we're in Charlotte. Kudos to Jaclyn and her wonderful cafe! 🙌🏾☕
The interior is cute and the owner was really nice. The tea was good, but really expensive to me ($7.50, ended up being $9.12 for a single drink after boba + tax). I got the Thai tea. They also have baked goods like muffins and cookies!
