Crema's Take

Hello You're Welcome is a charming Pasadena café where the warmth of the staff matches the quality of their craft—they're serious about espresso and pour overs while baking everything from scratch in-house, including an impressive selection of vманастey-friendly pastries and those addictive passion fruit donuts. The space has a welcoming, slightly bohemian vibe with visible ovens and quiet corners perfect for lingering, making it the kind of place where you feel genuinely cared for, whether you're a coffee enthusiast seeking their next pour over or someone stumbling in on a whim. Whether it's a perfectly pulled cortado or a specialty drink, every detail here seems thoughtfully executed by a team that genuinely wants you to feel at home.

After a restless night on a hotel mattress This passion fruit donut and oatmilk cortado were the perfect way to start my day! The barista was super friendly and welcoming and showed me to the quiet tables around the corner where I spent some time reading and enjoying my order.

Happened to notice this place while walking by and stepped into to take a look. I was impressed by the wide range of vegan sweet and savory baked goods, drinks, and no milk alternative unchanged. I enjoyed the passionfruit donut and the iced vanilla latte with oat milk was smooth ans flavorful.

Thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to the charming, highly-rated Hello You're Welcome café. They make and bake everything in house- you can even see the ovens. Really friendly staff with a slight hippie vibe. Some items were made with almond flour, like their giant chocolate chip cookie, so I had to skip them (allergic). I was pleasantly overwhelmed by a delicious gigantic frittata slice with bacon, onions, and tater tots inside. Togadachi coffee is really interesting: the beans were fermented with lavender. Extra sugar helped me adjust to the unique flavor. The wall full of retail items features coffee beans in VHS boxes, which is a first! I love their mugs and bought one to take home.

There’s plenty of other reviews talking about the food and the pastries, which are great. But this cafe also takes their coffee VERY seriously. Tons of options for stuff on pour over, and a very knowledgeable staff behind the counter. Some of the best coffee I’ve had in the LA area.
