As a Filipino-American who visits the Philippines yearly and frequently travels to East Asia, this coffee shop truly knows its way around matcha and especially ube. I came in initially expecting to be disappointed (as it’s difficult to find quality ube and matcha drinks in the U.S.), but was only pleasantly surprised. The matcha had a vibrant, earthy flavor with just the right amount of natural bitterness. It was smooth, not overly sweet, and clearly made with high-quality powder rather than the diluted versions you often find at Starbucks. Meanwhile, the ube was rich and creamy with that vanilla sugary taste which doesn’t overwhelm you at all. The blend of matcha and ube was thoughtfully crafted and balanced, letting the flavors shine. On top of all this, the cost was very affordable, especially for college students like me. My favorite coffee shop around me. Great service, staff, and coffee; the food is hit and miss. The paninis are delicious but the breakfast burritos kinda suck, poorly distributed, kinda messily assembled, premade, and microwaved. Everything but the burrito is damn good though! It'll remain my favorite spot bc the coffee and other food is excellent

Nice, reliable café near campus. The mocha latte is solid and tasty. It’s a cozy, well-established place with a great atmosphere. Clean restroom too, which is always a plus 👍

King Coffee Shop has quickly become my favorite spot! I work nearby and noticed this cute little coffee shop on the side of the road. Tired of the usual Starbucks, I decided to try it out, and I’m so glad I did! The shop itself is charming, with a great vibe for working or studying. I had an amazing iced dirty chai, and my friend loved the breakfast burrito! The staff was friendly, and everything was made quickly. I’ve already been back multiple times in just a few weeks! If you’re in the area, definitely check it out—you won’t be disappointed.

On my way to the site the Saturday morning before Superbowl Sunday, I stopped by for a delicious breakfast burrito stuffed with hash browns, fresh and perfectly cooked bacon with chunks of eggs,served with the best salsa I've had in ages. I paired this with a freshly squeezed limeade and a tart apple,then sat quietly on the unassuming porch, next to my bike and prepped for the morning 🌄
