Crema's Take
“Tucked into a charming Pacific Grove building adorned with local art, this espresso-focused café wraps you in warmth with plush seating, a working fireplace, and carefully curated ambiance that makes lingering feel natural. Their signature drinks—like a rich Vietnamese-style latte or a perfectly balanced oat milk vanilla matcha—showcase genuine craft, and the welcoming staff treats regulars and newcomers alike as part of an intimate community gathering space.”

I love this place for the ambiance. It’s very cozy, good music, with plenty of seating and a large fireplace. The coffee was surprisingly good: rich, deep, and strong. The latte reminded me of Vietnamese coffee. The only slight downside is cleanliness. The floors and bathrooms could use a deep clean, and the lack of toilet seat covers is a miss. Otherwise, really like this place and will be back.
Warmed up next to the fireplace with my delicious 20 oz $6.00 oat milk vanilla matcha. Glad I popped in for this tasty value.
It's adorable inside. The walls are covered in art from local artists, they have comfy couches and chairs, as well as tables for working. There's a piano, and I saw the calender includes fun events every week. I got a dirty chai in a for-here mug, and it was delicious 🤤 my dog was very happy too, which is all I really care about 🐶
Great service. The employees make you feel at home. Beautiful building inside and out. Delicious drinks. My next time in the area, I'm definitely coming back. ***2/14/17 update*** service is still great and their coffee is amazing. Got the White Chocolate Mocha Double Shot...delicious. Frank is the absolute best. Thanks for the recommendations on the fish tacos too! ***8/12/25*** service has gone downhill, at least on one of the days I was there. We stopped by everyday we were there (4 days). Of those days, 3 were great and 1 was bad. This metal head chick who thinks she's too good to be there was very dismissive and essentially tossed the loyalty card on the counter... My hand was right there. It has gone downhill from the old PG Juice and Java days. It's very cluttered and messy now. It was clean and well taken care of in the past. The coffee is still fantastic, but it's less welcoming because of the clutter, mess, and dismissive employee. I hope the culture changes here, or at least the one employee.
First of all, the customer service was lacking. I wasn’t greeted right away. The young lady that ended up taking my order was fairly friendly. But the one that made my drink just put it on the counter, and didn’t say anything to let me know it was ready. And her shirt/top was quite revealing, not very professional-looking. I got a hot chai latte with regular milk. I liked the beautiful sun-shaped pattern of cinnamon that was sprinkled on top of it. The overall taste was pretty good, but there was a flavor in it that tasted a bit off to me, as if it had an artificial sweetener in it. (I had read and was told at the counter, that they make their chai in-house, so I was expecting more of an authentic, pure chai flavor.) And it was way too hot! I waited about 5 minutes to try it, and it was still so hot, that I burned my tongue, and had to spit it out! Also, I had read that they serve gluten-free bakery items there, but the only gf item available was a big coconut macaroon, half dipped in chocolate. (I passed on that, but the cashier said they are good.)
