Common Ground

Crema's Take
“Common Ground is a beloved neighborhood cooperative where the real magic happens in the food—their breakfast sandwiches with perfectly cooked eggs and crispy bacon are craveable, and their s'mores cookies are genuinely worth a repeat visit. The vibe is warm and welcoming thanks to a genuinely friendly staff, though fair warning that it gets delightfully cramped, especially mornings when everyone's grabbing those exceptional bagels and pastries alongside their cold brew.”

This was good! I got a scone which was really yummy and a chai latte which was also good but I like mine a smidge sweeter. I’d definitely come back and get the scone again (or venture out and try something new) and I’d definitely try a different drink- I know I’d be able to find a favorite here!
Common Ground Cafe Cooperative is one of my favorite neighborhood businesses. Their drinks and food are great and they have the most friendly group of people working there. I especially love how they are community minded, welcoming to everyone, and offer resources and help to those who need it. Love this place!
Amazing bagel sandwich with crisp bacon and a perfectly cooked egg with a jammy yolk. Iced coffee was fine but unmemorable. S’mores cookie is a 10/10. One star knocked off because it’s very a cramped space and layout, but understood given the building.
Even though a small cafe, their food sets it off in a big way. The menu consists of breakfast, sandwiches, smoothies and chilled coffee drinks. My visit my party and i chose sandwiches and they did not disappoint. Their very unique sandwich names like The Elm, the Falls and the BLT was delish. Smoothies were good too!! Service was quick, and you had the choice of indoor or outdoor dining. If in the area, try them out.
This place was pretty good. Went by with a friend while visiting Baltimore and got a sausage, egg, and cheese bagel. It was super crowded inside the day we went, and we had to go outside in the tent to eat. It was cold and rainy, too, and there were only a couple tables under the tarp. I felt bad that there were some others who sat outside where there wasn't any overhead covering. On the other hand, the sandwich provided temporary warmth and satiation: the cheese was gooey and the bagel good. I felt it could've used a tad more salt, however, and the egg could have been just a little less dry from overcooking, but it was good nonetheless. We didn't stay long, as it was cold and wet as I mentioned, but from the food I had, I'd go back, probably for another chance to try some of their pastries. They had a lot of branded merch, and plenty of food items to pick from on the menu. It seems to be a hot spot for brunch and coffee, so keep that in mind in terms of crowding. 4/5 stars
