this place is such a hidden gem! i got coconut cake and it was INCREDIBLE!!! and the owner seems so kind and i really love his mission and the history they have in the store is so cool :) definitely check this place out it’s so good!
This bakery brings back such good memories! It reminds me of the heyday of the Sandtown/Upton neighborhood where small business owners proudly served their community. The baked goods are SO good! (And I have to add the Chocolate Cake to the Must Try list.) But, as important is the environment: warm, friendly, always immaculate. Chatting with other customers about what's good just adds to experience. Do yourself a favor: Treat yourself to a visit. You won't regret it.
I got the peacan pie and sweet potato pie. Both were AMAZING (like fighting with my household over who ate the last peice good). They have lots of parking and the staff is very helpful. Their prices are affordable too.
This is a local gem. The lemon pound cake is like my Granny used to make!. An entire pound cake is less than 10$. The snickerdoodle cookies were so wafer crisp and light , fabulous. The staff is so friendly and helpful.
