Hester Store & Co. is one of those rare places that truly brings a community together. Located in a beautiful historic building in Dacusville, it has the perfect small-town atmosphere where you’re always greeted with a smile and genuinely friendly service. Their ice cream is phenomenal — they serve the famous Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream from Madison, Wisconsin, and there are so many flavors to choose from that everyone in the family can find a favorite. It’s easily the best ice cream around. In the mornings, their fresh muffins and great coffee make it a perfect stop to start the day. The shop also features local art and unique items for sale, which makes browsing just as enjoyable as the food. Whether you’re meeting friends, bringing your kids for a treat, or just enjoying a quiet coffee, Hester Store & Co. is a wonderful place that adds something special to our community. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re anywhere near Dacusville!

I have been to Hester Store several times and have been met with nothing but amazing customer service and never been disappointed in my coffee, food or icecreme! If we lived closer, this would be my spot! For now, it’s our occasional treat we look forward to!

We loved stopping in for ice cream and coffee! We sat outside and enjoyed the yard games. Perfect addition to the area! You can also find some other local trinkets and goodies inside for purchase. Don’t miss this spot!
