Crema's Take

Tucked into an Emporium shopping center, The Groves is a coffee destination where curiosity is rewarded—regulars rave about adventurous sips like horchata lattes and consistently praise the flavorful, well-crafted espresso that keeps them coming back. The warm, inviting atmosphere and fabulous decor make it an equally appealing spot to linger with pastries and light food, whether you're meeting a friend or exploring something new on the menu.

I don’t normally talk much about coffeehouses. But in this case; I’ll make an exception. The Groves in West Palm Beach, Florida…located in Emporium Shopping Center, has some of the finest coffee, best pastries & sandwiches you will ever have. Service is exemplary & the food is bar none…simple flavors but with that flair of warmth that you will not soon forget. A taste of home from “the old country”, you will savor every bite. Generous portions that I often wind up taking home a “doggie bag” (me being the doggie that gobbles it up several hours later)! I’ve visited PineCrest Bakery & trust me; as good as they are, theirs is far too commercially prepared, while this feels more homemade with love & not as rushed nor as stark, barren & bereft of that love as PineCrest Bakery is. No. To the contrary, if you want authentic Cuban atmosphere, coffee, pastries & food…you definitely want to make The Groves a MUST to visit, sit, savor & enjoy every facet of who & what they have to give you. Most importantly; ENJOY this delightful Cuban experience right here in our own backyard! In addition to all I’ve mentioned; there are a fairly wide variety of homemade jams & preserves along with ground coffees for purchase! Have I mentioned how wonderful this The Groves is? Silly me. I just did!

I came in to try this place after purchasing a fundraiser coupon book from a kids football team. After ordering my food I was told they don’t accept the coupon, then that it was not for what I ordered. After seeing the coupon was indeed valid and for both locations in Palm beach I was then told that they can’t honor it and to “ come back tomorrow “ . This is really annoying since I only came in to use the coupon. Needless to say I won’t be returning. And I would’ve liked to for the bee pollen and other items I wanted to purchase. But I think it’s wrong to be apart of a children’s fundraiser and not honor it for $10 bucks when I spent well over and eat out almost everyday. I did pay full price. UPDATE!! Got home to find pork on my sandwich and no dressing for other order. I specifically said no ham or bacon and heard her tell them no bacon yet they still put it on. I called in and was told to make it there in four minutes or else they cannot help me after telling her to refund me. She told me that she would remake the wrap I got there. There was a gentleman there that spoke no English and told me he had no food for me and he could not help me all the lights were off. This is despicable service and I would not want my business ran this way. I do not eat pork I was laughed at by them when I told them that I could not remove the pork from the wrap and eat it because I do not eat pork. I left the wrap on the counter and will never come here again. Beware of who you spend your money with.

I stumble into this shop every so often when I want a unique coffee. Today I had a horchata latte and wow incredible. I always try something new. I’m always greeted with a smile and kind words. Got a Cuban sandwich to go and I’m always impressed with the food. Fresh bread. Tender cooked pork. The potato sticks are my favorite. ❤️ continue the great work.

Stopped by to get a coffee. Met up with my wife and we liked the coffee so much; decided to go back for early dinner. Food was flavored deliciously and there was plenty for the price. We could only eat half had the rest for lunch. Ladies were helpful & friendly. The patrons were nice too. Sharing what food they picked and recommended. Definitely a must stop for quality coffee delectable eats!
