Love Nitro Bar and the friendly staff! Great customer service and they are trained professionals. There’s a small tiny kitchen where they can make hot breakfast items. They go the extra mile and give warm greetings and remember your names and orders if you’re a regular. Limited seating inside but there is outdoor seating as well during the warmer seasons. There is usually a line outside the door since this place is very popular. Overall one of my favorite places to grab a coffee in Providence. Place is a bit pricey compared to other cafes but is a place to treat yourself once in a while. My go to is always the dark horse for those who like something a bit stronger.
Was nervous about waiting in line as it extended around the corner in the peak of winter. However, line was handled very well and I got my cookie butter whip nitro coffee in excellent time. Also got a nitro cold brew with oat milk and found it deliciously refreshing. Would recommend to stop here while in PVD.
Great viral coffee shop. Cool vibes w attached bike store called DASH. The lattes are the signature drink. Most ingredients are locally sourced and they name their sources in the menu. I really enjoyed the experience here. It would be nice if they had more seating but this is the vibe you wait online you sit on barstools if you’re lucky enough to find one water head was not available because it was busy, but it wasn’t that crazy. I waited in line for approximately 10 minutes on a busy MLK day. And then it took another 10 minutes to get my food/drinks. If you like syrupy sugary drink drinks. And taking selfies with them this is the place for you. My daughter loves it. Here is a shame. They don’t have any T-shirts cause she would’ve won one.
First time seeing a long line for a place in Providence. 30 minute wait… but it was worth it. We got the famous Caramelized Banana latte and the Strawberry matcha, and both were fantastic. Caramelized Banana Latte – Had a banana milk latte I loved last week, so I was curious how this would compare. This ended up being one of the best flavored lattes I’ve had in recent memory. The syrup was sweet but complex—layered with two distinct types of bitterness: a toasty edge from the caramelization and a smooth, lingering bitterness from the nitro shot. That tiny shot really stood out in terms of quality. Will definitely come back just for their nitro cold brew. Strawberry Matcha – Always a fan of MEM Tea matcha, and they used it well here. What made it special was the reduced milk ratio, which allowed the matcha to stand out a bit more without being drowned in creaminess. The result was a much cleaner aftertaste, more like an iced tea than a milk-heavy latte. After trying the best matcha of my life at 12 Matcha last week, I wasn’t sure this would impress me, but I’m glad I gave it a shot. Pesto Smash – Hard to go wrong with a Pesto, cheese, and tomato on a breakfast sandwich. Just wish the bread had been toasted a bit more for extra texture. Still very satisfying.
I came here once before and got a matcha and have to say that I was a bit disappointed—it was very milky. I came back and tried the chai, however, and it was fantastic. I love that it was on tap, very quirky. I also got the smash sandwich on a plain bagel and it was great, lots of good flavors and a good lunch. The seating is a little awkward because they only have counter spaces and it’s a a tight squeeze but there’s lots of outdoor seating for the warmer weather.
