Crema's Take
“Taste of Lebanon transports you to the Levantine coast with vibrant, herb-forward dishes that balance crispy textures and silky olive oil, from their legendary falafel with perfectly calibrated spices to za'atar manakish that tastes like a memory. The casual, family-friendly spot excels at bringing people together over freshly prepared mezze and shawarma, making it an ideal gathering place whether you're seeking authentic flavors that recall long meals with loved ones or discovering Middle Eastern cuisine for the first time.”

Get the falafel. Everything we had here was fresh and delicious, but the falafel was sooo good. Full of flavor, perfectly crispy, and just a great way to start my weekend. We visited for the first time for an event through Fork in the Road Foundation and will definitely be returning to support this local, family-owned, small business. Service was friendly, prices were affordable, and the food was excellent!
Absolutely delicious! Flavors that remind me of long meals with friends while living in Kurdistan. The falafel is a unique spice blend that was perfectly balanced - a must try! Za’atr manaish and lebneh are glorious! I’m just seeing that they have vegan kibbeh and I can’t wait to go back! The family are all incredibly kind and clearly great cooks! The back room is a fun atmosphere with cozy seats, while the front room has great natural lighting and a view of the beautiful brick building of STL. Plenty of parking and fun local spots nearby to explore.
We ate at Taste of Lebanon today & it was crazy good! Freshly prepared food with a lot of vegetarian options. Our meals were prepared with delicious herbs, spices, silky olive oil, flavorful feta (not too salty) and wonderful flat bread. Good teas & coffee. There was an assortment of sweets too The owners are friendly & service was good. We highly recommend Taste of Lebanon and will be back.
Man, I have no idea how the rating here is only 4.1. This is hands down one of the best places our family has eaten in St. Louis. We got the hummus with beef, falafel and taste of Lebanon. 10/10. Everything is fantastic. I highly reccomend. Go once and you will be going back.
I hadn't had my fav, Chicken Sharma in more than 5 years! I'm sorry to say it wasn't what I remember it to be. I don't think I'll be returning. For context, I ordered take out on Sunday about 6pm. My disappontment is for the following reasons are: 1. portion size is less but price went from $16 to $21. 2. garlic paste is more like butter with only a hint of garlic now, not good. 3. The turnips pickles (purple ones) used to be think and crispy, but now they are shaven and flavorless and come with an extra charge. 4. The chicken went from juicy to dry. 5. The fatoush is shaven very fine now and tasteless (no salt, no lemon) I think management has changed.
