Coquina Beach Cafe
2650 Gulf Dr S, Holmes Beach, FL
Crema's Take
“Coquina Beach Cafe sits right in the sand with canopy seating steps from the water, making it feel less like a typical coffee shop and more like a beachfront gathering spot where locals linger over both specialty drinks and fresh seafood platters. The staff's genuine warmth shines through in the details—they'll customize your order, chat you up even when technically closed, and create an atmosphere that somehow works perfectly whether you're solo with a cortado or bringing the whole family. It's the kind of place where the coffee pairs naturally with salt air and sunset views, turning an ordinary caffeine run into a proper beach day ritual.”

They were closed when we went as it was too cold, but a gentleman asked if we wanted coffee. Enjoyed the outside in the sun.
We both had the Seafood Platter with fries & coleslaw. Mine was grilled, my husband’s was blackened. They very kindly separated my fish, fries & slaw (comes in a small cup), while my husband wanted his fish in his fries. The fish was delicious, as promised, very mild & tender. Next time I’ll ask for half the seasoning as I eat low salt, but it was delicious & perfectly cooked. My husband’s blackened fish was exactly to his liking. He enjoyed his mango daiquiri & I had bottled water. We were able to find a table with partial shade, no mean feat in a busy Sunday. We love Coquina Beach—less crowded than others—and will be back. When we do, we’ll definitely eat here again! Beach photos since I forgot to take photos of the food. Can’t beat the ambience! 😍
May 2019 – I visited Coquina Beach Cafe with my family, and it was absolutely stunning! The food was delicious, and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. We had an amazing time enjoying the atmosphere, making memories together, and soaking up the beautiful beach views. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Bradenton Beach – it’s perfect for families and a relaxing day by the water!
Love this place!! They have a bar/food on the beach, canopy seating right in the sand, and so close to water. It's perfect for each family members want/needs.
This is one of my favorite beaches in the whole world. I'm saddened that the recent hurricanes have destroyed the restrooms, but that's understandable, and they've done a good job thus far to get things back to normal. It's a very uncrowded beach, it's a very beautiful beach, and it's kind of a hidden secret, but it's just worth the trip. They do have a free bus that goes from the northern part of the island down to this beach. I did not eat this time but I ate the last time I was here, and the food is really good. It's just one of the few places that really is as beautiful as the postcards.
