Crema's Take

Café Corazón is a cozy Kansas City gem where the baristas greet you like friends and craft thoughtfully made drinks—like their beloved "como la flor"—using quality ingredients that justify their slightly higher price point. Beyond coffee, this intimate spot shines for its handmade empanadas and creative breakfast options that customers rave about as some of the best in the city, all served in a warm, art-filled space perfect for lingering conversations. The whole experience feels infused with genuine care, from the attentive staff to the vibrant community atmosphere that keeps people coming back.

Despite a couple parts of my order being out, I was very pleased with my drink and empanadas! I ordered two, the Fugazzeta and the Ratatouille. They ended up being out of the Fugazzeta so I had the beef empanada (which I've had before and knew was delish too). They also ended up out of the cold brew and replaced with a canned cold brew. Not a big deal, but it does bother me these weren't caught until minutes after I had paid and was waiting. Everything tasted delish, everyone was kind and helpful. Definitely would come back but I hope they have everything or at least tell me ahead of time if not.

Came here for the first time last Saturday. Upon entering the atmosphere was warm. The space is a bit small but cozy. I was greeted by the barista and placed my order, I got the Chorizo Burrito and the Horchata Latte. I will start with the latte, it was delicious, I would buy again. The burrito was disappointing. While it was made to order and fresh, the size for the price was lacking. I went around noon so I was expecting and hoping for a decent sized burrito for $10. When I was handed the box I already knew because it felt empty. Once I got to the car and opened the box, there was a burrito barely the size of the inner palm of my hand (not including my fingers). For almost $19 for a latte and a mini burrito I just don't feel I got my money's worth. As a foodie I don't mind paying for good food but the price and portion need to match because when it doesn't I feel took. So I probably won't get anymore food items from here but I would return for the drinks.

Love. Love. Love this place! ❤️ The drinks are a little more expensive than other coffee shops but I know I'm getting cutesy drinks with quality ingredients and love. I love the como la flor and horchata latte.

Could not be a better experience. The Employees that were there this morning were so nice and the coffee and the Yerba Mate were amazing. And easily the best empanadas I’ve had in awhile. It will be a regular stopping place for me. Thank you ladies for everything
