Absolutely love stopping in here for breakfast!! This was my 3rd time Dinning here and ive always left full and satisfied. This is a place that you can tell locals love and enjoy coming back to. Many people walking in are greeted by name but everyone is treated like a regular. Had the pleasure of speaking with the owner this visit and have seen him in there greeting and seating guests every visit ive made. The food speaks for itself. But its great NM flavor! The Chile is amazing and can be spicy! If you aren't sure you can handle the heat they suggest getting it on the side! Restaurant is a bit small but they are fast paced so tables clear quickly! Locals I'm sure already know about this place, so tourists this is a Must visit Restaurant! Stop by have a great breakfast to start the day and enjoy the surrounding area.

Nice cozy Diner. Great New Mexican food. Maybe top 5 breakfast burrito I’ve ever had. I really liked the chorizo in the breakfast burrito because it was NOT greasy or super oily like a lot of chorizo can be. So good! We were seated fast, served fast. Food was hot, coffee decent! I will definitely come back, and bring my kids.

We arrived the week between Christmas and New Years. It was slammed! The host did an amazing job with crowd control, communication and even got our drinks while the server was busy. The food was the best of the trip! Both Chilis were flavorful and sopapillas were fresh. Come here to get your Southwestern Mexican cuisine fix and to get taken care of like family.

Breakfast & Lunch Only: This is not a dinner spot. They are strictly a morning and afternoon establishment, closing by 2:00 PM most days (1:00 PM on Sundays). Logistics & Strategy The Wait: Because it doesn't take reservations and is located just a block from the Plaza, there is almost always a wait on weekends. Aim to arrive before 9:00 AM to beat the heaviest rush. The Chorizo Warning: Their homemade chorizo is a fan favorite, but they often sell out by mid-morning on Saturdays. If you want it, get there early. Pricing: It remains one of the most affordable spots in the historic district. We were told Tia Sophia's was a must when in Santa Fe and it did not disappoint! We had about a 20 min wait since we did not make reservations- which I would recommend since it is very popular. The vibe is great, service was on spot and they always smile and check in when passing by our table. Food was delicious and definitely a bang for you buck when it cones to plate size. Hubs had breakfast burrito Christmas style- red and green sauce! I had ground beef blue corn enchiladas Christmas style 😋 Flavors were excellent and made us soooo happy! Definitely a place to visit!
