Crema's Take
“Feast is a charming hybrid café and home goods shop where excellent coffee and fresh pastries pair beautifully with a sun-dappled patio perfect for lingering over breakfast or brunch. The thoughtfully curated space—from adorable dinnerware to carefully sourced sandwiches and avocado toast—makes it feel less like a typical café and more like a friend's stylish home where you actually want to spend hours. Whether you're drawn by the scenic views, the quality food, or simply the warm, family-friendly atmosphere under the trees, this Summerland spot excels at making you feel genuinely welcomed.”

A very nice to have breakfast or brunch. The view is very pretty, as well as the ambiance. But the food was the highlight and it was amazing! The store had the cutest furniture and dinning ware. It is family friendly but if you do have little ones that are a age that would love to explore I would avoid going into the store because of the glass items around the store!
The name confused us, despite the unfortunate name of this establishment the food was great. We ordered 2 sandwiches and the bread is fresh and delicious, and the sandwiches were tasty. I went for the asparagus sandwich which is an unconventional choice for me and it was really good but to be honest she needed more of the beet hummus. Saw the roast beef going by and seems like that was the move.
Gorgeous cafe and home goods store. The coffee and pastries were great. Also, a nice board of pickles and bread. I liked the outdoor sitting under the trees. The store has some beautiful items. Not cheap but very nice.
Field and Fort has a beautiful patio that we enjoyed sitting out on. We got the roasted cauliflower salad and the italian ham sandwich. The salad was good but the ham sandwich was amazing. It took a while to get our food (30+ min) but I enjoyed sitting on the nice porch while waiting. It was also nice to look through the attached store. Overall, I was happy to have come here and enjoyed our food.
“You’ve got to get the avacado toast!” is what I heard about Field and Fort. I thought it was good, but my breakfast sandwich was even better. There’s a nice patio to enjoy with friends while you get your day started. The accompanying shop appeared to be stocked with plenty of items to support your retail therapy. I’d go back again if we were in the area.
