Crepes Parisiennes
207 S Craig St, Pittsburgh, PA
Crema's Take
“Nestled in Pittsburgh, this charming French-inspired spot specializes in authentic buckwheat crepes alongside thoughtfully prepared waffles and pastries, drawing a steady crowd of regulars who appreciate both the quality ingredients and the genuinely warm, attentive service from the owners themselves. The cozy atmosphere strikes that perfect balance for lingering over coffee and conversation or grabbing a quick bite, with savory crepes dressed in fresh greens and vinaigrette sitting comfortably alongside decadent sweet options—though fair warning that some of their indulgent treats lean decidedly sugary for the traditionalist palate.”

I bookmarked this place after seeing all the positive reviews, so I came in with high expectations. The food didn’t come close. The Nutella waffle was overwhelmingly sweet to the point of being hard to finish, and the salmon crepe had almost no flavor. The female owner was polite, but the male owner made the atmosphere uncomfortable with how abruptly he interacted with customers. I left feeling disappointed and confused about how this spot has such high ratings. If you’re looking for well-made crepes, this isn’t it.
We LOVED Crepes Parisiennes! Assuming it was the owners working when we went on Saturday and they were so friendly! The panini and waffle were incredible! The waffle was one of the best we have had and it really tasted like it came straight from France! Definitely a spot we will be visiting more often and in a super cute area right near the university of Pitt and Carnegie Mellon! Order at the counter and they serve you when it’s ready! Paper plates make for a super easy clean up! Oh and their coffee was so very good! Thanks for the hospitality, we will most certainly be back.
This adorable place has friendly service and delicious food. Savory crepes come with mixed greens and vinaigrette and with pickles and sauce for your crepe. Sweet crepes make a delicious treat as well. Delicious beverages.
I loved Crêpes Parisiennes! The service was amazing and the guy at the counter was super friendly and made us feel welcome. The food was good too. We had crepes, coffee, and croissant. But it was the service that really made our visit special. Can't wait to come back! ⭐️
The crepes are buckwheat, which it was not mentioned on the menu. They did ask if we had food allergies, which we do and they were very competent regarding food allergies. We go there around 11 the place was extremely busy after we got our food. Not my favorite crepe place, would be better to have turkey or chicken crepes. They were soft, i prefer crunchy in a triangle. There were lots of spider webs around their decorations, ick.
