Don't get in my way when I need some carbs. The sign led me to the location of bagels and more. I was transported into a deli with comforts all around. I opted for a plain bagel and cream cheese. There is something for everyone! The line goes fast and the food comes out hot and well toasted. Staff was very friendly. Highly recommend.

When you come to Grandpa’s Restaurant, the customer service is amazing. Ask for John — he’s the best waiter and super attentive. The food is delicious, the service is fast, and the atmosphere is relaxing, especially being so close to the beach. Great spot for breakfast or lunch. ☀️

We used to come here a couple of years ago and we loved the home town vibe. Eversince it's a new management, prices are now ridiculously high which is understandable with the economy but the quality of breakfast doesn't justify it. For two french toasts, it's $10! And the Eggs Benedict was in a very sad looking muffin, with a hashbrown thats way overdone. Breakfast for two people and only 1 ordered coffee, the bill was over $45. We tipped well because she was a good server but the price and quality of the food doesn't match. We should have gone to Jack's Diner in US1 instead for a more affordable better Eggs Benedict or at any breakfast spot along Hollywood Broadwalk beach, which can pricey but at least there's a view.

I really wanted to like this place, especially since it brands itself as a New York style restaurant. The space looks clean and modern, which set a good first impression, but unfortunately the food and service were disappointing. The hostess looked visibly fed up and just gave us an annoyed “two?” with no eye contact and our server was an older lady with a cranky vibe. Like a true New Yorker—I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese on a bagel and it was subpar. For the price, the bagel barely had two strips of bacon, minimal cheese, and looked sad. Definitely overpriced for what was served. I won’t go out of my way to revisit. Compared to what’s around locally, it might be passable, but it’s nowhere near an authentic New York bagel experience. Management needs to address customer service asap!

Great diner with a hidden feel. Very comfortable restaurant and excellent service. Shout out to Sam! Super nice guy. Pastrami was fantastic and I highly recommend the coleslaw. My wife enjoyed her burger and the fries are dangerously good, lol.
