Crema's Take

Gourmets Market & Café is a beloved Knoxville spot where made-to-order breakfast bowls and creative sandwiches shine, with standouts like the pesto-loaded burritos and the pulled pork Cuban that keep locals coming back. The warm, family-friendly atmosphere and genuinely attentive staff make it worth the weekend wait, and the attached market adds a nice browsing opportunity while you settle in for a slow, satisfying meal.

I got the piggy bowl and hubby got the make your own burrito. He got the bacon, red roasted pepper, cheddar, and pesto. Let me just say that the pesto was amazing in full flavor! He said the eggs were perfectly cooked and the flavors were perfect. I LOVED MY BOWL with one note. I thought the pork edges were a little dry. However, the FLAVOR OF THE WHOLE bowl was something that I just had to get more of....so I give it a 5 with the consideration for the edges. I could not drop the overall meal to a 4 for that! It was worth of a 5, even with that slight "not so much edges" due to flavor and presentation....period. Ben was our server, perfect balance of conversation, a laugh and made us feel like he was family instead of a sales person or not engaging. He is a great asset to the business, as well as the girl who seated us with the weiner dog earrings. So staff gets a 5 for sure I would say you need to check it out. We will be back to try other dishes too! You will not be disappointed in the journey to this food!

Casual breakfast/ lunch spot with a good selection of beverages and a small store. We both ordered the bowls. I had the nerd bowl. The spicy cheddar biscuit was well flavored however a bit dense. I probably would not order it again. The pancake was absolutely delicious!! I would highly recommend. They also have wonderful coffee. Service was warm and friendly.

Went on a Sunday around 11 so a lot of people waiting outside- was told it would be about 45 min wait but only took about 30 mins. Food was good, tasted fresh. Service good, nice staff. Solid overall!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Gourmet’s Market & Café in Knoxville. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting. Our server, Stephen, went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and truly cared for. He recommended their Italian sandwich, the Grinder, and it was perfection—delicious, hearty, and exactly what I didn’t know I needed. His attentiveness, friendly guidance, and genuine care made the whole visit feel special. I 1000% recommend this place—especially if you catch Stephen that day. Thank you for the perfect service and for making our meal memorable! 🎉

Came in late. Sat at the counter. My server (didn’t catch her name) was wonderful; I gave her my top three lunch sandwich choices- she recommended the pulled pork Cuban. It was fabulous. Highly recommended. Never felt rushed even though - as I left - I saw I must have been the last customer of the day.
