Gene's Cafe

This place is so cute and we enjoyed our drinks! I got the tastiest strawberry matcha and my friend got herself a latte. I love the vibe inside, the décor is absolutely immaculate but sadly there isn't a lot of seating inside. We were able to snag seats but there are only 4 in there total which is a real shame because it's a nice café to actually sit inside of. I suppose it really is meant for hotel guests and less so the general public.

Very very expensive!!!! 30 dollars for 2 coffees and 2 croissants. Do your pocket book a favor and take the short walk to Starbucks and you can thank me later. Nice shop and cute but the price of what you actually pay for is ridiculous. My coffee cup is the size of a free water cup that most places give you. I mean like 8oz. Not worth it at all. Beware

Coffee shop located inside the Huntley Hotel. Came here after a run with some friends and grabbed a strawberry matcha and a breakfast sandwich. My order was messed up but they fixed it fairly quickly. The matcha was alright but looked cute. The cafe overall had a cute aesthetic but was on the pricier side for what you actually receive. Credit cards accepted. There’s a couple of tables inside for seating but it seems more geared for takeaway.

Great service, tucked inside the Huntley. Tried the iced honey lavender latte and it was too sweet for me to finish so make sure you’re mindful of their sugary drinks.

Gene’s Café in Santa Monica was my go-to spot during my hotel stay, I grabbed my morning and afternoon coffee here every day. The staff were incredibly friendly and genuinely caring. Their coffee is excellent, and the food is just as good, fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. It’s a cozy spot with great vibes that made my stay even better. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!
