OH LA LA

Crema's Take
“Oh La La is a serene French-inspired café where freshly baked pastries and artisanal breads steal the show—think buttery croissants with creative fillings like peaches and cream, or ham and béchamel that transport you straight to a Parisian bakery counter. The space itself feels like a quiet refuge from the chaos, with genuinely warm staff and a deliberate slowness that invites you to linger over coffee and conversation, whether you're catching up with friends or settling in for a leisurely brunch. It's the kind of neighborhood spot that earns devoted regulars who've been waiting over a year just to walk through the door.”

I stopped by Oh La La La in Pasadena near my job and instantly fell in love. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt calm, cozy, and welcoming. It is not loud or chaotic, which makes it perfect for a relaxed brunch, a solo reset, or even a casual meeting. I ordered the Brioche Eggs Benedict and it was absolutely delicious. Light, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. It was not overly heavy, which I actually appreciated, because I could enjoy every bite without feeling stuffed. I also tried the French onion soup without the cheese since I am lactose sensitive, and it was still incredibly rich and satisfying. That broth alone speaks for itself. The fresh orange juice deserves its own moment. You can taste that it is freshly squeezed, bright, and refreshing. No watered down flavor, just pure citrus goodness. The staff is very pleasant and attentive, and while the food does take a little time, you can tell it is made with care. Plus, the pastries are so delicious they make the wait completely worth it. Everything feels thoughtfully prepared, not rushed. This is definitely a new favorite for me. Great food, peaceful vibe, quality ingredients, and friendly service. I will absolutely be back, and next time I am bringing someone with me.
Very nice freshly baked bread and pastries. For the bakery counter takeout, just go to the left as you enter. We did takeout. Country sourdough round was very moist and yummy. Did not need reheating before eating, because it was very fresh. Croissant, chocolate croissant, and matcha tart excellent as well. Croissants are crispy on the outside, soft and moist on the inside. Just like in Paris 😋 If you want to sit and order, you need to see the hostess. Could be a wait during weekend lunch time for tables.
I’ve been dying to visit for over a year now and I’m so glad I could make it today. The food was just as amazing as I imagined it would be, the staff were so genuinely friendly, and the cafe itself is so cute! I came pretty close to closing time so most of the pastries were gone, but that’s just another reason for me to come back. This cafe is not just aesthetics, it delivers true quality. I can’t wait to explore the rest of the menu. Love it! Thank you!
The place is super cute inside. I came on a Saturday around 11am and didn't have to wait too long for a table. Service was great. Me and my friends just got brunch items, and it was satisfying but nothing memorable. Although, the almond croissant is absolutely to die for and made up for it. Definitely try the pastries here.
Variety of unique pastry flavors- I got peaches & cream and the ham, cheese & béchamel croissant. I wish they had an option to toast them, as they didn't seem freshly baked day of (ranging $4-8 each...). The sea salt caramel coffee was one of the best coffees I've had, $7-8 for a coffee is quite a steep price. Server was very sweet and had many recc'd! Lots of seating and great atmosphere - took 5-10 mins for the coffee to be served.
