La Florida is a warm, artfully curated neighborhood gem that doubles as both a serious coffee destination and a genuine community gathering spot, with espresso-focused drinks, locally showcased art, and a staff that embodies genuine Southern hospitality. The quintessential local coffee house. Great staff, delicious pastries, and freshly crafted coffees. Beautiful local art is on display in the cozy and welcoming sitting areas. If I could choose one place to frequent daily, this would be it. The shop is easily accessible from the Kleman Plaza parking garage with beautiful walking paths. This was my third visit and each one has been exquisite.

Amazing coffee shop! As a college student I was looking for a place to have a good coffee and study at the same time and this is it! They have outlets close to the tables so if you need to stay for a while there’s somewhere to plug in electronics. Also, as soon as I came in a band started to set up and played amazing slow jazz throughout the stay.

It was pretty quiet place, also has a great outdoor sitting area next to public yoga grasses. You can feel the downtown atmosphere. We were so excited when we see the Cortada coffee in the menu. However, it was almost cold and half of it was milk foam which is weird. As I said, the atmosphere was great and artistic with all these cool paintings and fresh flowers of the spring. Their muffins are also delicious👌

Today was my birthday and I decided to try this cafe for the first time to pamper myself with a perfect latte and a tasty bite. Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience for me. However it truly had a nice vibe and a cute natural light, my latte was served in a disposable cup and my quiche slice was cold! The barista was kind and friendly and warmed my quiche when I asked him. But the bottom line is I don’t think I go back again!
