Mundial Coffee

Good customer service, I had questions about the menu and was gladly walked through it. My coffee was done in 5 minutes, they had games and coloring books that we did use while we were here. My only issue was we wanted to play uno but didn’t because felt we were already being too loud so we colored instead. It comes off as a very social environment but is the complete opposite very quiet, very isolating.

Located on the corner of Spruce St & Chicago Ave with plenty of parking and indoor/outside seating (no drive-thru). The atmosphere is distinctly earthy, with beautiful live plants and various items like mugs for sale. I came here specifically to try their 'Turkish Coffee'. It's about a 10-minute wait as it's prepared fresh in a traditional cezve. The 4oz serving is served in a regular paper cup and had a great taste. Because the coffee is finely ground and typically served without straining, the sediment at the bottom can be quite overwhelming for some. Besides specialty coffee and tea, they serve items like avocado toast, wraps, and pastries. The service was excellent, friendly and welcoming. Overall, it was a good experience, and I'll be back to explore more of their coffee house specials.

Great coffee! Huge breakfast sandwich! Glad my husband and I split it -- it was loaded with lots of delicious parts. I enjoyed my vanilla matcha but will have to come back for their earl grey matcha which sounds like a fun flavor combination.

Ixchel cacao reminds me of Oaxaca ! It is a phenomenal taste that I haven’t had in a while. I definitely recommend this drink! On the right is a brown sugar latter, which was good as well but if you go and can only order one drink it’s definitely ixchel!

Mundial coffee is a wonderful independent coffee shop that serves more than just coffee. Their Latino vibes and drinks are intriguing and unique! They have modern takes on traditional-esque ceremonial cacao drinks. As well as a medley of mushroom drinks including, but not limited to, the popular brand, mudwater. I highly recommend that if you’re in the area, give this shop a try! Their menu has so much to offer. I wish we had something like this closer to where I live. If I’m ever in the area, this place is a MUST. The only problem? It’s a small shop with only a few tables. But I wouldn’t be surprised if they grow into a Southern California name brand!
