Lift Coffee Roasters
2060 Chicago Ave A-10, Riverside, CA
Crema's Take
“This riverside roastery excels at creating a genuine, welcoming atmosphere where you can linger over thoughtfully crafted drinks like their seasonal Guava Latte or standout Dirty Chai, plus surprisingly excellent sandwiches that elevate a simple coffee stop. The staff strikes that rare balance of being consistently warm and attentive without feeling forced, making it equally suited for a quick caffeine boost or a longer sit with friends. Just go in knowing you're paying a bit of a premium for the experience and care they put into each cup—it's the kind of place that justifies lingering rather than rushing.”

Drinks are okay but too expensive. Why am I paying $10 for Sysco ingredients in a coffee. They also charge $1 to REFILL YOUR OWN WATER BOTTLE. It's 90° out in Riverside and I'm a student who's trying to study for a bit. I finished the water in my water bottle and this place told me to my face they need to charge me $1 for their tap water. Good riddance.
A quick afternoon stop to try thier seasonal Guava Latte. It was a wonderful pick me up for the end of day. There was plenty of seating inside, and the service was friendly.
Lift was very lifting! Visited the area and was in need of caffeine for the road. Lift Coffee seemed like a good option, and it did not disappoint. Their February menu looked interesting enough to try. Bad Romance was my choice, very refreshing drink. Great place to enjoy a drink or do work, as I saw people working on their laptops.
Love this spot! My go to drink is their Dirty Chai and a turkey sandwich, their sandwich is sooooooo amazing 👏 😋.
Lift is one of those coffee shops that just works. The staff is consistently friendly and welcoming in a way that feels genuine, not scripted. The sandwiches are excellent, the matcha is genuinely delicious, and the space itself has a calm, energetic atmosphere that makes you want to stay - and come back. It’s a very chill spot, mostly filled with college students, but it never feels chaotic. The music is well chosen - relaxed, low-key, and perfectly suited for studying, reading, or just being present - and the artwork on the walls adds personality and warmth without distracting from the focus of the space. Even small details stand out, like the bathroom always being clean, which says a lot about how the place is run. The only downside is the lack of gluten-free sandwich or pastry options, which would make an already great menu even more inclusive. Still, the overall experience more than makes up for it. Lift has a way of making you feel comfortable, focused, and welcome all at once. It’s the kind of place you don’t just visit - you build a routine around it. Easily a five-star coffee shop.
