Crema's Take
“Island Gourmet Coffee is a supermarket kiosk that trades on its name far more than its product: regular complaints about burnt, over-extracted espresso and a deceptive sizing scheme (large and medium cold drinks contain identical amounts of liquid) suggest the "gourmet" positioning is more marketing than reality. The breakfast food gets genuinely warm reviews, and the staff is friendly enough, but if you're stopping in for coffee specifically, you're better off elsewhere on Kauai. It's a convenient grab-and-go when you're already shopping at the supermarket, nothing more.”

This place is a disgrace of coffee industry. If you want to taste cheap burnt coffee, this is your place. They need to change their name to something other than gourmet. Also be aware of their lid that doesn’t fit your cup and will eventually spill all over your shirts. Save…

Beware of coffee sizes for cold drinks the large and medium are the exact same ounces. You pay extra for a large but it’s truly a medium in liquid content. So just order a medium. 🤙🏼
It is both a blessing and curse to have stayed so close to Coconut Marketplace and this gem. If you spend $100 at any ABC store, including drinks from Island Gourmet Coffee, you can qualify for a free gift. I ordered Kona coffee, Jasmine milk tea, regular milk tea, Ube cookie…
