Crema's Take

Frisky Business is a genuinely joyful cat cafe where the real specialty isn't just the coffee—it's the whole experience of sipping a perfectly crafted iced matcha while surrounded by well-loved, playful cats in a spotlessly sunny space. The owner's warmth and personal attention shine through every interaction, making this feel less like a commercial cafe and more like visiting a friend who happens to have an adorable feline family and excellent pastries. It's the kind of place that works equally well for a solo coffee moment or quality time with loved ones, where the cats are the real stars but the hospitality makes you want to stay all day.

This cat cafe is the absolute best. The space is clean and well-maintained, sunny and lots of toys and entertainment for the kitties. Kitties look so well-cared for (if not too well-fed 🤣), and they were all so friendly and approachable! They love the treats as well. The drinks are a bonus. But the real joy and experience was with the lovable cats and how comfortable they looked in the cafe.

Oh my HEART!! I wanted them ALLLL! Sooo sweet and such an adorable place! The owner was friendly and delightful to chat with and the Iced Matcha was FANTASTIC - but the star of the show were the kitties of course and playing with them!! Loved that she always has a “hospice kitty” too! He was gorgeous. 💖 5 stars all the way.

If you love cats, coffee, and amazing people make sure to check this place oit! Frisky Business in Palm Springs is honestly such a special place. From the moment you walk in, you can tell how much care and heart goes into everything they do. The space is welcoming, cozy, and so well designed. Both guests and cats feel comfortable and relaxed. The cats are well cared for, happy, and full of personality, which makes the whole experience feel authentic and meaningful rather than just a novelty. You can tell the owner genuinely loves what they do, and their passion creates such a warm and positive atmosphere. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing coffee break, some serotonin from adorable cats, or just a unique local experience, this place delivers. Not into cats? The lattes they make are exceptional. Not a coffee? Come by and just to hang out with the cats. You can also pay a one time fee to hang out with the cats in the atrium for 45 minutes and unlimited coffee. Sound like a win win Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in Palm Springs.

Pop in your reservation and enjoy yummy cafe items accompanied by a delightful variety of kitty personalities. It so nice to immerse yourself in the cat culture hosted by people that truly care about felines and the great ventilation gives us more time enjoying the cats than my husband’s allergies typically afford us in other adoption situations. Awesome locally designed shirts, art, and gifts are other ways to support their cause. I’m not gonna call favorites but Alex is kooky perfection and his adoption fee has already been paid for so…😻😻😻

My husband surprised me with a visit to Frisky Business today/yesterday 11/12/25 and it was so special! The owner was the one who checked us in, explained the process, and ultimately took our drink orders. We decided to do the 45 minute cat visit for $25 each, included in the cost is a free drink (which normally cost around $8 if I remember correctly), and there are many different coffee house type choices from Americanos, Lattes- iced or hot, cappuccinos, hot cocoa, iced tea, etc. That’s not to mention their cold beverages like Powerade, Capri sun, bottled water, and some juices from my recollection. The owner was amazingly kind, friendly, and conversational. She told us a lot about the cats and their personalities, quirks, health (as one is on hospice), and one is at her home reacclimatizing after being diagnosed with epilepsy, and a little about where they came from. She provided treats and also let us know who were the treat stealers haha. We ended up being just in time so we were the only ones visiting the cats when we were there and there were plenty of toys to play with the cats, and for us humans too. There are puzzles, cat bingo, matching games, and other things to do which works to allow the cats see you’re mellow and come to you. The environment was very quiet and they had a tv screen showing birds taking a bath with bird sounds so that is pretty much all you hear and it’s so peaceful. The cat room is a separate enclosed room from the rest of the cafe I’m sure for sanitary and safety reasons for the cats so they can’t escape, because you must be very careful going in and out of the room. There is also a 20 minute visit with the cats that’s only $13 for adults and beverages are separate. My husband and I played a game and the owner didn’t interrupt our time at all to let us finish and say our goodbyes to the kitties. She even checked on us to make sure the temperature was good and if we wanted the blinds raised or lowered. She is an absolute gem! Some of the cats can be very frisky when you have treats in your hands and some take them gently, several of the cats look almost identical, so it’s hard to tell them apart. The short haired red head was the most frisky with the treats and both my husband and I left with tiny scratches, but what do you expect when you visit a kitty cafe and the cats know you’re their cash cow 😂? That same cat was also the biggest love bug when treats were gone. Some of the cats were shy, but I’d say at least 7-8 readily came out and were interested in getting pets. Percy the long haired redhead was the most open to love, unfortunately he is the kitty on hospice. There is normally 12 cats, but the epileptic cat is still recovering at the owners home. In synopsis would I recommend frisky business? Yes, 100%! The coffee is real fresh espresso ground right infront of you. People go just for the coffee, for good reason! The coffee is delicious and it’s not all noisy like a Starbucks and you can still see the kitties through the glass cat room. Again yes! Because you’d be supporting a small, woman-owned business that takes care of rescue cats at the same time. She does accept donations as well. They are open Wednesday-Sunday 10:00AM-6:00PM
