Crema's Take

Les Filles Cafe & More is a genuine French-Italian pastry haven where owners Candice and Paula have transported the flavors of Paris and rural Italy straight to Palm Springs—think authentic bomboloni that rival what you'd find in Italy, butter-rich Parisian sandwiches, and boulangerie pastries that feel like a holiday rather than a cafe stop. The cozy, clean space pairs these exceptional imported goods and fresh-baked treats with a warmly hospitable atmosphere that makes it the kind of place where you linger over coffee and conversation rather than rush through.

Amazing boulangerie. Both French and Italian pastries are delicious. Being French I loved everything about it. It was just like at home or in a holiday in South Italy. I also took two sandwiches. One baguette and one Focaccia. Both made my day during my hike. The owners and personal are also very sweet and they love what they do and you can taste it.

Delicious sandwiches. The parisien and the saucisson tasted like what you would get in France. It must be the butter they're using. Just great! Wish I lived closer to have these more often.

Amazing cafe! The bomboloni are very fresh (we loved the pistachio and cream varieties) and are the best I have eaten outside of Italy. Also pictured is the ricotta and pistachio cake, which was surprisingly light and delicious. The pain au chocolat was solid and coffee was excellent. Did not try the sandwiches but we could see they were being made to order and looked incredible. You can also find some imported products such as Mulino Bianco biscotti which is such a treat. I will absolutely recommend people to stop in and enjoy authentic French and Italian pastries. We will be back for more!

Cozy but clean atmosphere. Friendly owners with great talk skills. Sandwitch: Looks small but thick in the middle and fills you up. The flavor is simple; no weird spices, yes fresh ingredients, enough amount of salt. Crunchy and chewy bread with olive oil (I think). Cake: Substantial when cutting and putting into mouth, then melts into one single liquid in the mouth. After swallowing, you then feel the nutty pistachios. Coffee: Yes.

This place is awesome. Such a great addition to the Coachella Valley. I met the ever so sweet owners, Candice and Paula. They offer sandwiches, fresh baked pastries as well as goods imported from France and Italy. Please support this local business. I was extremely impressed with this place.
