This Santa Barbara gem masterfully blends serious espresso craftsmanship with generous, inventive Mexican-inspired breakfast that keeps locals coming back after years away. The owner's barista expertise shines through thoughtful drinks like cinnamon almond lattes, while the kitchen earns raves for adventurous dishes featuring nopales and California chiles alongside hearty traditional fare. Huge portions, great food! Our waitress forgot about our appetizer but by the time we realized we were so full it was ok. Had the Mexi bowl and sopes. They were out of shrimp so I was bummed but the food they had was still good!!

It had been about 5 years since my only time going to eat here. I was pleasantly surprised how good my food was. I have started to eat nopales or ( cactus ) recently. I saw it on the menu and tried it. It was very tasty and cooked properly. I didn't remember all the decorations, which I truly enjoyed. Will definitely be going back soon

Food was excellent. If you have a large group, more than 20 people, expect that it will take longer. Other than that, staff was super friendly.

You’re missing the best breakfast in town. The owner is an expert barista. I had an almond latte with cinnamon and the scramble with nopales (opuntia cactus) and California chiles (not spicy). Also try horchata with a shot of espresso for lunch. The portion was enormous and the flavors were fresh and exciting! The potatoes were so crispy. I used to frequent this restaurant years ago for their healthy soups. I’m so pleased that this is now a woman-owned local restaurant. This is a must visit for specialty Mexican breakfasts and coffee brews. Also a great spot for gluten-free options.

Was looking for something new to try aside from our regular fast food stop. So we decided to stop by at del pueblo cafe. The service here was great. They had our food out in a short time and no long wait. The food tasted good and what gets them 5 stars is their customer service. The attendant was very fast at getting our orders and checking in on us very often. Would definitely recommend.
