Crema's Take

Nestled in Alpine, this espresso-focused café has earned devoted fans with genuinely delicious cortados and cappuccinos that keep visitors coming back long after their Big Bend adventures end. The generous, book-lined space invites lingering conversations over excellent coffee and homemade pastries like their standout pumpkin bread, making it the kind of local gem where the baristas chat with you while crafting your drink. Whether you're after a traditional cortado or exploring their specialty drinks, this is where Alpine's coffee community gathers.

We were coming back from Big bend national Park and looking for a decent cup of coffee and possibly a snack. We checked out a couple places based on Grok's recommendations and we settled on Cedar coffee. Cute little coffee shop located inside a bookstore. Staff was friendly. Coffee and snacks were above average.

Was in town overnight from Big Bend Ranch State Park and stopped in for a cortado and a cappuccino. They were delicious! Pumpkin bread was also amazing.

Stopped in for a morning coffee while in Alpine. Had a nice chat while the coffee was being prepared. Do support this local business in the Alpine and check-out this place. Coffee is very good. And with a cup a coffee its also good to explore around the town nearby. Ambience with the coffee shop is also very good. Must recommended in Alpine. Would love to visit is next time while in Alpine/Marfa

This is a nice little coffee shop next to a bookstore. There is a lot of space inside with a variety of seating. I had a London Fog--Earl Gray tea with honey and foamy milk (there's probably a special term for that)--and it was delicious. On a Monday morning, only one person was working, but there was no line. Enjoyable experience.
