Crema's Take

This downtown Sacramento spot is a straightforward grab-and-go cafe that excels at affordable, no-frills breakfast and lunch basics—think fluffy chorizo burritos under six bucks and surprisingly solid teriyaki chicken that locals genuinely love. While consistency can be hit-or-miss (some items get the microwave treatment), the fresh salsa, quality bagels, and genuinely polite staff make it a reliable neighborhood lunch destination when you're in the area and want something quick without pretension.

To convenient little lunch spot downtown that provides a couple hot food options, salads and sandwiches. No frills but everything that you'd expect out of a little cafe. The staff are polite.

Ordered a sandwich and it was disappointing. Chicken was dry and bacon was burnt. Definitely not worth $12. In addition, myself and two other people used our card here and immediately after all three of us had our card compromised. Use caution using your card here.

A decent, affordable place to get lunch if you are nearby. I had the chorizo burrito for under $6. It was fluffy style scrambled eggs-- the kind with lots of air. Tasted fine. Salsa was fresh but not spicy. Espresso was also fine--double shot. My friend had a turkey avocado sandwich that looked great, actually, for $9. Go for the sandwich. Kinda cold to eat outside still bc of the shade.

The teriyaki chicken here is a taste that reminds me of my mom's home-made chicken. The glossy teriyaki chicken and rice soaked in sauce are the best combination. If you are busy, of course, to-go, but if you have time, I recommend you to eat in the restaurant.

Food is ok, just about everything is microwaved, do not order the biscuits and gravy you will be very disappointed. The bagels are good they get them from Costco so the quality is good, fresh fruit is not so fresh but the Chicken teriyaki is great. Service is slow and ordering can be very confusing especially during the lunch rush.
