One of the best places for breakfast and brunch! The food at Alma Cocina & Bar is amazing. Everything is prepared fresh and the portions are great. The Breakfast Tacos, Huevos Rancheros, and Chicken & Waffles are full of flavor and highly recommended. They also have delicious waffles like the Nutty Nana Waffle with Nutella, banana, and granola — it’s incredible. The place is clean, the service is fast, and the staff is very friendly. If you’re near the airport and want a delicious breakfast or brunch, you definitely have to try Alma Cocina & Bar. Totally worth it!

Alex was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible experience. He was incredibly informed, friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. His recommendations were spot on, and it’s clear he takes real pride in his service and the quality of what he prepares. His poise and maturity reflect both the company and himself exceptionally well. Thank you, Alex, for making our visit such a memorable one!

I bought a sweatshirt because it was freezing in the airport and I grabbed a medium and asked to exchange it for a large and they don’t do exchanges, it hadn’t been 5 minutes since I bought it, $60.00 later…careful what you buy here!

The Gift shop also prepares fresh food & Coffee and they have plenty of options to choose from. I ordered their Carnitas Torta in Bolillo bread and it is amazing, it's very filling & flavorful a very well made torta, The Cuban sandwich is okay but I'd stick with the torta instead. I give this gift shop 3/5 because the prices of all gifts are outrageous, if they decreased the prices I'm sure more people would buy their souvenirs as they have plenty of great options to choose from.

Wish I could give negative 4 stars, while at McAllen Airport waiting for my flight I tried to buy a $4 bottle of water. But no staff was in the store, they were conveniently sitting right outside, watching me stand inside and NEVER once offered help, one of the employees was the manager. A Hispanic man walked in after and he was greeted and served. Easy to say if my skin color isn't welcomed my money isn't either. I recommend Coffee Zone, they had hot food for a good price and GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!
