Crema's Take
“Macao Cafe strikes that rare balance between serious espresso craft and genuine hospitality, with barista Lawany pulling cappuccinos that leave chain coffee in the dust. The intimate Latin-inflected space transforms into something special after 4pm when the music stays conversational and the vibe becomes perfect for meaningful conversations or a quiet afternoon with exceptional coffee. Between impeccably pulled shots, fresh-squeezed juice, and thoughtful food, this Union City gem feels more like a carefully curated escape than a quick caffeine stop.”
What to expect
Espresso-focused. A slow-sit spot, good for meetings. Light food on the menu.

Excellent
Really nice experience if you want to bring someone in private after 4:00pm. Nice latin environment, and the music isn’t exceedingly loud.
I had the pleasure of enjoying freshly made cappuccinos by Lawany, Starbucks has nothing on her. I then proceeded to have fresh squeezed orange juice, also amazing. Now let’s talk about Jefferey the hands behind the cuisine. What’s 4 + 4 …. 8(ATE)… and that’s exactly what I did.…
Excellent service and the food is exquisite 🍀
