Louis Swiss Bakery

Crema's Take
“This early-opening Swiss bakery in Aspen is a pastry lover's secret weapon, with reviewers raving especially about their empanadas and croissants that go far beyond standard coffee shop fare—the kind of baked goods that inspire people to return again and again. Beyond the exceptional pastries, they're genuinely accommodating with custom orders and deliver quality breakfast burritos and sandwiches that local professionals trust enough to order for meetings. The combination of authentic craftsmanship, willingness to personalize, and being one of the few spots open at 6am makes this feel less like a quick grab spot and more like a community gathering place where care actually matters.”

Got the chipotle chicken empanada, and dear god it changed my life. Chocolate croissant and latte were also good but I will def be back for more empanadas!
We've been getting sandwiches from Louis Swiss for meetings for a while and they always go above and beyond. I need sandwiches cut in have and yes, they alter a sandwich to turn it into a veggie sandwich. ( I usually order around 10 to 20 sandwiches, 15 minute wait is amazing!) It's always a good experience with good food and amazing, dedicated, polite staff. Thank you so much for being so considerate!! I appreciate you!
This place is amazing!! Fabulous breakfast burritos, empanadas, matcha latte, vanilla latte, sourdough bread loaf and more. Everything we’ve tried has tasted delicious— feels like good quality, authentic ingredients.
This is the only place around that is open early for breakfast. I came at 6am and got a burrito. It did not disappoint. I left my coworkers in want for a burrito. Next time, I will try an empanada.
WOW!!! I don’t understand ANY negative review about this place. I am a baker myself and when something impresses me that is special. These people have a true gift of pastry work. We loved it so much that we went back twice and drove early for our flight out to get their empanadas and burritos. Their apple Jesus was delicious as well as their almond croissant and cherry danish. Really an unexpected find! Their prices reflect the work and time they put into their craft. I appreciate the effort put into the food they produce.
