Crema's Take

Tucked inside a historic schoolhouse, Hillside Coffeehouse radiates genuine warmth with huge bright windows, quirky touches like a typewriter for letter-writing, and standout pastries (their cherry chocolate cupcake is legendary). The staff goes above and beyond, the space works equally well for solo laptop sessions or group hangouts, and families love the kids' corner, making it feel less like a coffee shop and more like everyone's favorite gathering spot in Greenfield.

Wow! This place is a GEM! FIRST TIME coming there today and such good food, atmosphere, bakery and coffee! The kind staff really make this place! There are kids stuff for little ones to play with, yummy food and coffee. So many beautifully made bakery items too. With the homey feel of the atmosphere, I will definitely be coming back. 100 out of 10 experience! Highly recommend!

Such a lovely, cozy coffee shop I can't believe I just found. Huge windows keeping it bright, fun decorations, and and a homey feel. Also super friendly service (Lola was great!) going out of their way to bring a cheerful holiday spirit. Not to mention my drink (London fog, with Rishi tea) was excellent and super affordable. Will definitely be coming back to enjoy the space.

Super cozy place with yummy food and coffee! The cherry chocolate cupcake was delicious and there is even a typewriter to write a letter to a friend! Can't wait to visit again if I'm in the area!

The iced dulce de leche latte was great. The opera cake was delicious. The atmosphere was so cozy. The service was friendly. Plus, it's inside an old schoolhouse, so it contains history. What a nice coffee shop ☺️

Such a quaint and cozy atmosphere with plenty of seating—especially for groups. But holy crap, the cupcake I had was one for the books. First of all, just LOOK at it! I’m not one for chocolate and it was scrumptious! The buttercream was out of this world. I easily could’ve eaten 12 of these, because it was so perfectly flavored, and not overly sweet. The only thing you’ll be upset by is not coming sooner.
