Crema's Take
“Cuppa Tosa Kitchen & Cafe has recently leveled up with a spacious new location that pairs excellent coffee with an ambitious food program featuring standout dishes like avocado toast and corned beef hash alongside fresh pastries and full breakfast offerings. The welcoming atmosphere strikes that perfect balance between a serious coffee destination and a comfortable gathering spot, making it equally suited for a leisurely breakfast date or a focused work session with your laptop. What locals seem most excited about is how the move has elevated everything—the same fantastic coffee they've always loved is now backed by elevated food that actually lives up to the cafe's ambitions.”

Cuppa Tosa just moved into their new location and my wife and I jumped at the chance to try out their new food menu. I had corned beef hash, which came with eggs and pancakes, and my wife had a Denver omelet. We also took some signiture coffee drinks to go. Everything was cooked perfect, including my over easy eggs which is not always easy to get right. The hash was great. Not too greasy, and the consistency was just what I wanted. The pancakes, however, which were just a side option, blew me away. They are the tastiest, fluffiest, best pancakes I have had in a long time! The real star of our experience, however, was the service. This was no suprise as Cuppa Tosa has always gone the extra mile to make you feel appreciated as a customer and bring the community charm of Wauwatosa into their service. We were greated warmly, the Barisa chatted with us like an expert bar tender and delivered our coffee to the table as soon as it brewed. We were even visited by the owners who are as friendly and affable as your favorite neighbor without impinging on the dining experience. Their new venue is spacious, and has the vibe of a coffee house but the smells of a diner. It's clear they are just getting settled in as their sign isn't even up yet. Overall, both my wife and I really enjoyed our first trip to the new Cuppa Tosa Kitchen & Cafe. It was refreshing to go somewhere and get great food from people who make you feel appreciated for your business.
Their new location is awesome! Stopped in yesterday and ordered some breakfast sandwiches to go. They also had muffins and turnovers. The atmosphere is very nice. Lots of space. Every worker was pleasant. I was greeted with a smile and hello when I arrived. The sandwiches were great. We had croissants with ham, cheese and eggs. They came with hash browns. The sandwiches were large and we had enough leftover for another breakfast. We will be back. Thank you!!
If I thought Cuppa Tosa was great at its previous location, I think it's spectacular here. The avocado toast is to die for. I couple mine with a large chai latte. Scanning the plates of the other dinners, the other breakfasts entrees look delicious too. Customer satisfaction is primary, and Tony invites comments and suggestions. Looking for a place to meet? Talk to them. Need catering? Talk to them. Sandwiches and wraps are delicious as well. The new location provides easier access and easier parking. Something to look forward to is dog friendly outdoor seating. This is a friendly place to come an relax while enjoying conversation with friends, or quiet time alone. See you there!
I finally made it over to the new location now called Cuppa Tosa Kitchen & Cafe and I am sorry it took me so long! The coffee is the same fantastic coffee but the food has stepped up and is even better (which I didn’t think was even possible). I ordered the Greek Omelet which was made with 3 whole eggs and other fresh ingredients. You can tell with having a larger kitchen they have just upped their game. I can’t wait to see what they have in store for us as they settle in to the new space. The service was friendly, warm and inviting - even as they got a rush of people they remained calm and cheerful. Bravo Cuppa Tosa Team I look forward to my next visit!!
Been by this place many times, first time stopping. It was middle of the afternoon. There were a few other people there. Ordered a Chai Latte. Server (I think she might have been the owner) did a great job with my special order. It was very good. She also gave a a Blueberry Muffin to try (she explained that it was a new recipe). I thought they were amazingly good. Great textures, not overly sweet, delicious blueberries.
