Crema's Take

This Johnston gem crafts donuts that people are still raving about years later, with a knockout fritter that's remained a steal at $3.09 and flavors so consistently excellent that locals make it their go-to spot near work. The team clearly cares about what they're making—when your first choice sells out, they'll hand-craft it fresh for you—and that combination of quality pastries, genuine hospitality, and a buzzing family-friendly vibe makes it worth the trip even if you have to grab and go.

Went in early this afternoon for donuts and coffee and could not recommend it more. They had a great selection but two that I wanted were sold out so the man behind the counter made the two that I had wanted while I decided on the others. The donuts are so fresh, soft, and delicious. Coffee was great too! Will be back soon.

First time going here and it was so good. I was looking for a homemade donut shop near my work and I'm glad I found this one. The donuts are delicious and fresh. I enjoyed the assortment of flavors. I also got a Thai iced tea, which was really good. He put in four free donuts holes in my order which was nice. I'll definitely be back!

Still the best fritter I’ve ever had! I was last here 4 years ago and I have yet to have a fritter this good. It’s still only $3.09. The exterior is amazing, crunchy and the taste is excellent with a perfect glaze. A few places (Knead) sell “fritters” but they’re just brioche donuts that look like a fritter on the outside. Fritters have to be thin and not formed before frying. I also got a hazelnut filled donut ($2.39) which had that nostalgic donut taste. It had a nice airy dough, but unfortunately they really slacked on that hazelnut filling. But the 2 bites with the filling were unbelievable. And thanks for the 3 free donut holes. Great prices and great donuts!
