Pierce's Store

Pierce’s has an excellent selection of groceries and Vermont-made goods, even handmade items from local artists. You can tell that a lot of thought and care go into the buying, and I left with way more than I expected to find, including the cutest handmade ceramic bird pitcher. I chatted with the staff and learned about the history of the store, and how it is currently worker-owned and operated. I also noticed that the prices were lower than other shops in the area, which is remarkable for a smaller store. I appreciated finding vegan ice cream, too.

What great country store. Fresh baked muffins and bread. We were greeted with a friendly hello. This store is everything you would expect in a country store. The blueberry muffins and seed bread were amazing. If you are in the area you must stop.

Great old fashioned style country. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The store is stocked with a little bit of everything and a great source of locally produced maple syrup. Weather in the area and need something or want a road trip to step back in time this place is worth the trip.
