Ding Tea Charlotte Independence
7211 E Independence Blvd, Charlotte, NC
Crema's Take
“This spacious Taiwanese tea shop on Independence delivers consistently excellent boba teas that fans swear taste the same across their coast-to-coast locations, with a bright, airy atmosphere that's surprisingly roomy despite its modest exterior. The strawberry milk tea is a standout that customers rave about finishing before leaving the parking lot, and while service can occasionally mix up orders, the staff genuinely cares about making it right. It's the kind of welcoming, family-friendly spot where you can linger with your laptop or grab a quick specialty drink that actually tastes like something special.”

Me and my girlfriend went in because I wanted to try it we got the strawberry milk tea!!! We finished it before we got out of the parking lot. The service was quick the drink looked beautiful sucks I had to shake it ..10/10 best I’ve ever tried .
Roomy and comfortable setting. The cashier accidentally mixed up my order—I asked for a jasmine green tea but received a milk tea instead. He immediately corrected it and even let me keep the milk tea on the house! Really great customer service. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!
I ordered three brown sugar and one chocolate bobas and they gave us the wrong orders. It doesnt taste like it at all. I dont even know what milk teas these are, it has no taste. 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
Their boba teas are simply the best!! Weather they’re in the west coast or east coast, their tastes does not change! I had some on the East coast and really loved it, so when I saw a location I. Charlotte I decided to try it. I was amazed that the flavor is exactly the same! Sometimes you have variations of tastes depending on the location, but with Ding tea, the drink I got tasted exactly the same as the one on the west coast! I love that! They’re bobas are fresh and taste really good too. I get the Taro slush and it never fails. Will continue to come here, definitely recommend.
Ding tea on Independence!Love the big sign that says Taiwanese tea shop. This shop is bigger than it looks on the outside. Clean, airy and bright. Last time I had Ding tea is at their Shopton location, I have to say their tea at least have tea flavors and the boba are pretty chewy, I just didn’t like the creamer too overpowering the tea. That’s just me though my daughter thinks it’s pretty good! Support small business.
