Crema's Take
“This Urbana institution is a beloved community gathering spot that seamlessly blends a quality coffee bar with an eclectic gift shop, making it feel less like a café and more like a cultural hub where you can linger over a perfectly flaky croissant or grab espresso between browsing European imports and home goods. The welcoming, spacious atmosphere works equally well for a solo laptop session or a leisurely meetup with friends, while the friendly staff and rotating selection of pastries—from buttery classics to savory cheese-and-ham options—keep locals coming back as devoted regulars. It's the kind of place that anchors a community because it respects both the coffee lover's craft and the human need for a warm, locally-rooted third space.”

I’ve been a longtime customer at Art Mart, and it’s always one of my favorite places in town for coffee, pastries and gifts. Friendly staff and a place I truly love supporting in our community.
A Champaign classic and a great place to grab coffee with friends. A lovely toy store, home goods store, wine, and so much more. Come and support local and enjoy a local favorite. Highly recommend! 😊
My favorite place for a croissant! I highly recommend this spot if you’re into fresh, flaky croissants — they have a great variety, from nut-filled to savory options like cheese and ham. The atmosphere isn’t particularly cozy, but they do have a really nice market where you can browse and shop for food ingredients, wine, cheeses, toys for kids, and more. It’s a fun place to stop by for a bite and pick up a few unique items.

It's incredibly spacious, with so many different areas to explore. From the children's department to home goods, there's something for everyone. I was impressed by the variety of food sections, including a sweet treats bakery, deli, and a coffee shop. There's also a great selection of hot and cold prepared food items, along with unique specialty products that you won’t find anywhere else. I could have easily spent hours shopping here, discovering new things in every corner. The store is well-organized and maintained, making the whole experience pleasant. While most of the staff were friendly and welcoming, there were a few who weren’t quite as inviting, but overall, the customer service was good with many staff members greeting us and offering assistance. Whether you're looking for clothing, gifts, holiday items, or just some tasty treats, this store has it all. If you're in the area, I highly recommend adding this to your list of must-see spots! We did buy a breakfast sandwich bacon, egg and cheese and a feta spinach croissant along with a thin mint and a mocha latte.my breakfast sandwich was just okay it seemed like it had been warmed too long and got a bit hard but the coffee and croissant were good. We did get a wrapped sandwich for later an egg salad and a walnut tarragon chicken salad.
This is an immigrants dream! Whenever I’m feeling I need more European culture back in my life it is a joy to come here. They have so many great imports! The baked goods are tasty (a bit too sweet for European standards but good nonetheless). They have a diversity of to-go sandwiches and salads. They have lots of high quality pastas, cheese and meats! I love buying gifts here are well! From plate we are to clothes to knickknacks!
