Crema's Take

Hidden in Windsor, this chocolate-focused café showcases Chef Buttercup's Michelin-star-worthy creations—think beautifully layered mini cakes, inventive flavor pairings, and pastries like the famous Saturday Tart that nail the balance of indulgence without excess. The espresso program here is taken seriously by a team that's clearly curated every detail, making it an ideal spot to linger over a specialty drink and bite into something that feels more like edible art than dessert.

Chef Buttercup never disappoints. Every treat I’ve tried has been exceptional. His chocolates are beautifully crafted, featuring creative and innovative flavor combinations that truly stand out. The desserts are both visually stunning and wonderfully indulgent. It’s clear that each item is made with artistry and care.

Amazing desserts! We tried the Saturday Tart and it was the perfect balance of chocolate and caramel without being too sweet! So delicious! Their espresso machine looked awesome and I'm excited to try their coffee next time with another treat. 5 stars!

I don't think that words can do justice to Fleur Savage. The desserts are Michelin star worthy and not only an art form but a flavor explosion in my mouth. They have carefully curated every detail from beautifully ornate spoons to a garden behind the shop to enjoy your treats. My tea cup even was mesmerizing with its glass detail and iridescent shine. They are true artisans and everyone should experience this treasure in our backyard!

I was out shopping for Christmas gifts when I saw this cafe and decided to stop in for a hot drink. I was pleasantly surprised with how beautiful all of the chocolates were and ended up buying a small box and a bar. While this very kind woman was making my drink (forgive me, I forgot her name), her husband, the chocolatier, came out and chatted with me about his love for chocolate. This lovely couple and their passion for beautiful, decadent desserts left a wam impression on me. I will be going back every time I'm in Windsor and I suggest you do too. I found out very shortly thereafter that the chocolates are just as delicious as they are beautiful : )

I couldn't give Fleur Sauvage a perfect score becuase I'm comparing this place to places like Christopher Elbow in SF. The mini cakes were excellent. We tried the coffee and raspberry one for $12 each a bit pricey, worth the try but that was it. It didn't have anything special for me to buy it on the regular. The chocolates priced at $2.50 is comparable to others. They had 14 flavors to choose from. A box of 12 was around $40. Not as many to select from but given it's located in a small town, i get it. If youre in the area try this place. They have coffee and garden seating so you can enjoy their menu. It is worth trying.
