Crema's Take

KC's Pastries Northeast is a beloved neighborhood bakery where the owner's genuine warmth matches the quality of their offerings—regulars come back daily for coffee and cookies, while the fresh, not-too-sweet pastries like their signature triangle cake and cream rolls keep people coming back. This traditional Chinese bakery strikes that sweet spot between a quick neighborhood grab-and-go and a place where families linger, and their buns are so good that fans have been known to take them across state lines to Pittsburgh. The baker's pleasant demeanor and willingness to connect across language barriers makes every visit feel personal, even when you need a fresh cake in a hurry.

This is my go-to bakery in the neighborhood. Their pastries are always fresh, warm and tasty. I like the triangle cake and cream roll as they’re very soft and not too sweet. The tuna bread and cocktail bread are worth trying too, especially when they’re freshly baked in the morning. The owner is polite and friendly, and the prices are very reasonable - about a third of what other bakeries charge

I always get their buns and take them back to Pittsburgh! Wish there was a place here that has buns as good. Only suggestion, put labels on them so you know what kind they are when you get them home.

Traditional Chinese bakery. My family comes here from time to time for pastries. I ordered two cakes from here, separate days. The baker was so pleasant! There's a language barrier as I speak mainly English, but he was very patient with me as I depicted what I wanted. I called on the phone and they recommended that I come in. The cakes were vanilla, he wrote down what I wanted and had the messages displayed correctly. I honestly forgot the prices of the cake but I believe they were $25? I have also tried their Taro bubble tea and I enjoyed that very much as well. Their triangle cakes are to die for! All in all, this bakery is great and I enjoy coming here.
