We stopped here thinking it was still Geraldines. But no matter. Delicious coffee and incredible pastries. Some of the best I've ever had. The cinnamon rolls and cardamom bun were SUPERB.
We enjoyed our savory Danish and buttermilk biscuit with eggs, cheese, and avocado for breakfast. Everything tasted fresh. Would love to try more things from them
Just have to update-- Mattie Lou now has the most delicious, fresh breakfast tacos and migas!!! I love Mattie Lou's-- Great coffee, delicious homemade flaky pastry, and smiling, friendly service. Easy to park too! I highly recommend.
This morning we tried the breakfast for the first time and it was really good. I had a SEC biscuit which I really enjoyed and my partner had the Shirley, which she said was great. They were good sized portions too. The biscuits were massive. The blueberry muffin has been my go to since she opened and it's the best blueberry muffin I've ever had. Perfectly sweet for my liking, with fresh blueberries. The morning buns are also a favorite in our household. It's cute inside, but we've only ever done takeout since we live fairly close by.
Mattie Lou’s is a fantastic little addition to the area! We grabbed a ham and cheese croissant, original croissant, and a cruffin, and all three were absolutely phenomenal. We were both blown away and will definitely be returning.
