Crema's Take

This independent eatery goes well beyond standard breakfast fare with inventive dishes like habanero pork belly fried rice that balance bold flavors with surprising restraint—nothing feels heavy or overdone. The bright, meticulously clean space pairs excellent service with a genuinely extensive menu that keeps regulars coming back across multiple Orange County locations, though this Laguna Niguel spot earns special praise for consistently thoughtful execution.

The food is really good, fresh and not heavy at all. The atmosphere of the place is nice, and very clean. The service was amazing since you enter the place. The whole experience was great. Recommended!

Snooze’s habanero pork belly fried rice surprised me — bold, balanced, and comforting without feeling heavy. The heat builds slowly, the pork belly melts into the rice, and every bite feels intentional. Big serving that my sis and I shared it. I was also caught off guard by the huge bar in the middle of the space, serving everything from craft coffee to cocktails any time of day. Their coffee is genuinely great, and their hot choco hits the spot. The whole place has this bright, playful brunch energy — sunlight, color, and a steady buzz from families and groups filling the tables, all enjoying their breakfast together.

First experience at the Laguna Hills Snooze. I had only visited one Snooze in the last 10 years and it felt like a new experience. The menu is very extensive with many options for each entree. I defaulted to the Eggs Benedict (Ham Benedict III) with the Hash browns, Flat & Crispy to try some unique in-house creations. Also shared the Pancake Flight with Blueberry, Strawberry Shortcake, and the unique Spiced Pear. The toppings are very sweet so no need for additional syrup unless you love sugar. The spiced pear was a novelty and blueberry was very good too. The bottomless coffee helped to tame the sweet flavor, so it paired very well. The atmosphere was a 50's vibe with the old-fashioned breakfast feel. Service was excellent and Saul was especially helpful in guiding us through the menu choices. His suggestion of hash browns was good, as was the shared options in the menu. It is very busy but the queue ahead option in the online system saved us a lot of time. Prices are not cheap but the quality and value was worth it. Hoping to visit again soon although it is a good commute.

We are regulars at 3 out of the 4 Snooze locations in Orange County but one particular experience at the Snooze in Laguna Niguel stands out and deserves honorable mention! Of course the food is consistent and always so delicious but Joe was exceptional in representing Snooze and how aware and friendly he is of his surroundings! He was bouncing around as the bartender/barista, food runner, and any tasks he noticed needed handling. He created the 'flat & crispy' hashbrowns which were so good grilled that way! He was very attentive with excellent customer service and sometimes knew what we needed without asking! We bellied up to the bar and it was evident regulars knew him because he also greeted them by their first name! Joe is a gem! I'm guessing he wants to keep growing in the food industry since of his promotion since he started at Snooze - as he should and well-deserving of advancing. Way to go, Joe! You're a dime a dozen! Thank you for the excellent experience! We will see you again!

I got the classic breakfast, which comes with eggs your choice of meat, and bread. Is there chicken patty was actually really good. I like how unique their hash browns were, and the scrambled eggs were just your average egg: nothing to brag about. They let me substitute bread for French toast, which I found to be pretty dry. It does pair well with the eggs when eating together though. Don't get me wrong I like this place, I'd visit again!
