A Tea 7
5416 El Cajon Blvd, San Diego, CA
Crema's Take
“A Tea 7 is a beloved neighborhood spot where regulars come for creative signature drinks like their Cookie Monster and Peach Please alongside classic milk teas, backed by genuinely friendly staff who go out of their way to help. The vibe is perfect for settling in with your laptop or meeting friends—think good parking, ample seating across two entrances, and a playlist that actually slaps—though some longtime customers note the tea quality has shifted over time, so you might want to ask staff for their current favorites.”

I think their drinks have gotten downhill since they open because I used to get their lotus milk tea weekly, but lately it doesn’t taste the same. The teas have been getting more and more bitter and the overall quality is not good anymore. I really hope they can go back to the same teas they used before if they did change something.
Went and unfortunately they didn't have boba since it was towards the end of the night. But the young girl who had helped me was super generous and recommended that I get the Mango Milk Tea with the Cheese foam. Delicious! I definitely will go there again and try another drink and hopefully they have boba!
2025: this is a must visit for me at least once a week! WiFi check, yummy drinks check, music 🎼 🎵 is banging! awesome customer service check & check! I love it here! Thank you errbody for making it a wonderful atmosphere! 2024: Must try! I love this cafe!! ! The flavors are incredible & unforgettably delicious!!! Since I’ve been I cannot get the tastes out of my mind!! First time visiting. At first I was like where is the parking then I went through the back and found ample parking. You can’t tell from the outside but the inside is absolutely relaxing! I got the taro king and I was soooooo impressed with all the flavors! Hands down one of the best Taro bobas that I’ve had in San Diego so far! I will return and I highly recommend.
I ordered two drinks, and once I received them, they had added topping to the wrong one. The workers were very apologetic, and quickly fixed my drinks. Service was fast, and the tea is delicious. All the topping have the correct texture, and the fresh fruit in the drinks are delightful. It’s a shame I don’t live in San Diego, because I’d be coming here often.
Friendly service, plenty of seats/tables, good parking in the back. There are two entrances. We got #5 Cookie Monster, #10 Peach Please!, Mango Milk Tea, and Happy Go Lucky. All of the boba drinks are really good. Will definitely be back.
