Crema's Take

Tucked into New Haven's historic architecture with soaring floor-to-ceiling windows, this transformed space radiates a sophisticated yet genuinely welcoming warmth that keeps both laptop workers and lingering groups coming back. The crew's exceptional friendliness paired with thoughtful service—they'll bring your order right to you—makes it feel less like a coffee shop pit stop and more like a favorite gathering spot where spacious seating and a calming atmosphere invite you to stay a while. Whether you're after their traditional espresso drinks, creative specialty beverages, or the equally praised light food, everything lands with impressive care and quality.

I remember this café used to be a Starbucks, they transformed amazing, I love this coffee shop. Crews are incredibly friendly and kind, table and seats are spacious enough to keep the privacy. Goods are nice and cost worthy.

Stopped in on a whim and was blown away on every level. Atmosphere is lovely, sophisticated yet still welcoming. The service is warm and friendly. It is nice that they bring your order to you rather than bark out a name. I had a blueberry scone and latte. I’d rank the latte in the top ten best I ever had.

My entire office loves this place. They always talk about going there and getting either breakfast or lunch. I went there yesterday with my daughter to grab something to eat and we both had a wonderful meal. She got the Belgian waffle with nutella and banana. I got the open face berry sandwich. It had sourdough bread, ricotta, blueberry, strawberry and honey. Soooo good.

Excellent choice! Tried it today for the first time and what a great surprise: The ambiance, the friendly staff, the very tasty food and drinks, everything was awesome. The place is clean, modern and inviting. The coffee products are first class. And the breakfast sandwich was tasty. Will return, highly recommended!
